Jan. 29th Fox: Campillo/Shumenov II, Lara/Brewer

Probably one of the best cards of the month and on a small boxing network. Still haven´t seen Campillo/Shumenov I, but I read it was a war. Lara is stepping up in class against Brewer, who has provided a good test for upcoming prospects. I hope Lara puts on a show and wins impressively. Unfortunately he won´t get Foreman, but maybe he can get a shot at the other weak champion at 154. I´m pretty sure he can stop Spinks.

 

Hopefully shumenov has learned to stop being such a stiff Euro

 

Is this the same Lara that beat the crap out of Hatton before the Pac fight?

I don´t know. Maybe. Wouldn´t surprise me, if Lara kicked his ass. Lara is bigger and better. Not sure how he would prepare Hatton for Pacquiao though.

Overall a pretty shitty performance by Lara.

 

12th round just started for brinkley-stevens. brinkley should win via UD as long as he stands up. stevens showed nothing past the first round.

That was a great fight man. Stevens did good to make it to the end. He was hurt and tired in the middle rounds.

 

Avalos scores another impressive 4th round KO. Kid definitely has his flaws, but he can crack.

 

Shumenov looks like Kid Dynamite +40 (pounds).

 

..and he´s gonna end like Raiymkulov....KTFO. Just a matter of time.
