I gotta agree with this and everyone else on this side of the pond. Khan's handlers obviously saw how Khan handled MAB so they're going to play it safe and give Khan another good but less effective little guy. Judah may be shit but he can be dangerous when he trains. The Judah that fought Clottey would probably stop Khan. JMM at 140 is a tuneup and will basically be Khan-MAB II. You just have to look past the window dressing to see it. Khan and his team are bitching up. There's no way around that fact.
funny just recently I read that khan would fight Maidana sometime in April. I guess Roach really is protecting this fool. I would say he should give up the belt already. But I like JMM going for a tittle at 140!
Take away the Floyd fight and people would be looking on Khan as a big underdog in this one. Funny how one fight changes so many peoples opinions. If he stops JMM it is a great result. End of.
Yeah clearly I've showned how I hate JMM! :: nah! I know that Khan has the physical advantages. But other than that he is nothing special. From all tittle holders at 140 Khan is the best chance JMM has at winning a tittle. And even if he losses this will not be another Khan/Barrera type of fight. JMM still has his balls with him.
Wrong. Make the fight at 135...two titles and the "legitmate" claim to being the best fighter at lightweight. Then again...I guess that's why Khan-lovers toss out that scenario...because it's the only rationalization they can come to. Here's one...if Khan never fought Precott he'd be undefeated.
Eh? He would be the betting underdog if JMM had moved up from 135 to 140 to take on Khan and never bothered with the Floyd fight. He was no worse than the consensous #3 p4p in the world at the time. Also, dunno why people keep bringing up the Prescott fight, it happened yea, big deal, I'm glad it did, he's a better fighter because of it.
Again with the "what if" scenario...why not look at things as they are. You mean he's more carefully matched because of it.
Because people are making too much of his fight against Floyd, and forgetting he is still a very capable fighter. Floyd was the wrong type of style for Marquez to compete with, and 147 was way too high up in weight for Marquez to be successful. 140 might be, but we don't know because he hasn't fought there yet. One bad fight does not make a bad fighter. And Khan has improved since the Prescott fight, quite clearly.
