i've never liked sonnen. he's an arrogant dick outside the cage and is boring as fuck to watch. i'd love to see him get KOed

I don't find Sonnen boring. I find people like Dan Miller boring. Dan Miller fought not to lose tonight and that makes me sick. Sonnen may be a L&Per but he's a winner in every sense of the word.

Ahahahahahahahahaha! I could see the UFC pulling Coleman vs Tito after the Chuck fight. Then Chuck vs Couture with the winner fighting Dan Severn.

Every time Couture wins these days it kills me. There's so much ass kissing from everyone involved in the UFC that any time he fights it's unbearable. I'm sure they're going to start pushing him into title contention soon, like they always have. Coleman was absolute shit. Rogan's talking up Couture's striking like he just out struck someone worth a fuck. Coleman looked like he had a hard time walking around, let alone fighting. Bonnar should call it quits for losing to him. I would be completely embarrassed.

 

What a crappy night of fights. Couture/Coleman will make RJJ/Hopkins 2 look like Hagler/Hearns.

Nate Marquadt showed how much of a scrub he is. Sonnen's win only makes 185 look even worse than it already does.

What is even more ridiculous is Couture winning submission of the night over the Darse choke by Thiago on Swick.

 

Coleman looked pathetic. I felt bad for him. The guy has to retire. He didn't have anything in there.

 

That summed it up for me.....i like Couture, he seems a genuinely humble person, he's made a stance in the past over the fighter's pay etc...he's a good egg....but the way everyone connected with the UFC goes on and on about him, he's like Jesus. Rogan kept saying how he gets better with every time like the Vera fight never happened. So now i always root for the guy to lose.

Rogan also reckons that Couture is a top 5 light heavyweight....i'd like to sit down with Rogan and actually have him explain his list to me.....it would be a hell of a lot funnier than his stand-up act.

 

btw, hopefully once and for all they can stop with this shit about Swick being a lethal striker.....what?....just because he throws more than one shot at a time.

I enjoyed Sonnen-Marquardt....i dunno why some were calling it boring....Sonnen does plenty of work when he's on top there. I think Nate underestimated him, he wasn't even vigilant towards the takedowns. I think Sonnen is one of the better potential challengers to Silva....we might see Silva on his back.

 

that darce choke was great. and Marquardt is not a scrub, he's a good fighter.

 

He's an average fighter. The whole 185 pound division is full of average fighters.

 

I agree Nate is just OK. He will always lose to the top fighters.

Coleman needs a wheelchair just to come to the cage now. What an awful fight. UFC needs to stop bullshitting with these crappy washed up fighters in main events and make new stars.
