Here is a guy who with no proof whatsoever hops right on the PED bandwagon and accuses Manny of using. Yet on a Btalk interview when pressed twice about the possibility of Margarito using plaster loaded wraps against him he first ignores the question. On the 2nd attempt he blames both losses on his conditioning and the fact that he didn't have a strength and conditioning coach like he does now. Anyway, he's really pushing hard for a fight with Paul Williams at 147. PW must have really been looking vulnerable lately. Either that or Cintron suspects PW won't make 147 without killing himself and you add that to the fact that PW fights like a fucking moron and you have to admit it's a good gamble for Cintron. I don't know how Kerm would feel if PW insisted on fighting at 154 but either way if Kerm beats PW he should be in line for a big payday IMO.
Well, he probably doesn't want to come off like he's making excuses about losing. But you can bet that Tony had those gloves fully loaded in his fights with Cintron.
It makes sense for Cintron and Williams to fight - both guys had close fights with Martinez. Actually, I thought Martinez fought better against Williams.
Personally I doubt it happens. Cintron has been calling him out for 2 or 3 weeks and if nothing has even been rumored then I'd say it won't happen. Kerm thinks PW's trainer is the one turning it down.
kauk, I'm not even sure a positive test would be enough. False positive exist and Pac is so awesome that his urine might contain steroids naturally! Pac is so awesome that everything is possible. He might even start taking steroids right now because, like Mexican Wedding Shirt, he doesn't like when people tell him what he should do. Now that it's apparent people don't want him to take PED, he'll think "Fuck 'em, they won't tell me what to do" (In tagalog of course) and start taking PED to just show how much of a free man he is.
From the interview I read, Williams is the one who wanted it at 147 and Cintron doesn't care either way. He said he can make 147 if that is what Williams wants to do.
If it's for clarification as to who's really superior out of the two,.. there's no need for a rematch,.. Williams won clearly :nono:. If it's for entertainment value,..then yeah he can fight him again if he wants.
Another fighter that took his gift and ran with it. Props to Floyd for taking a rematch with Castillo.
Martinez Robbed Martinez beat Paul, IMO, and Williams is one of my favorite fighters today, but he lost that fight and I watched it with the volume off as I stated before here. Karl
According to boxingscene this fight is nearly done for May 8 on HBO and at 154lbs. I really didn't realize they were actually negotiating for this fight.
He wasn't at Savannah's yesterday, but the feeling there was that this fight will happen in the near future, and they all give Kerm a great shot at him. Vic Darchynian will be training there next week, but since I don't care for the guy, I'm not going to watch him work out.
Damn this is an awesome fight and I can't wait for it to go down. This year is shapping up to be a be year in boxing! I'll Holla 5000
