REED always brings this thread back as if it proves something. We all know REED has always hated Margarito. This is not breaking news.

 

I find Margarito nut-lickers appaling in their inability to admit that they were completely wrong.
Just a few short years ago, there were 2 kinds of people on thos forum: those, who insisted that Margarito was "the real deal", this "relentless feared Mexican", this "monster" and those, who quite simply, said that Margarito is a fraud, a poor man's Baldomir, at best.

Well, guess who turned out to be right?
The folks, who had the boxing wisdom, the knowledge to see right through Margarito and see his true, fraudulent nature.

Did Margarito nut-swingers, like *Z* here, apologized to the wise boxing gurus who were right about Margarito all along?
No.

Did they admit their own stupidity?
No.

Did they bow down to those of us, who correctly assessed Margarito as a fraud?
No.

How long will this have to continue, before a guy like *Z* will apologize and admit Floyd's greatness?

I'm stoked for the Mayweather vs Mosley fight. It's a great fight, and if Floyd keeps on fighting the tops guys, I'll be happy. Doesn't change the past though, I can still be upset about years of cherry picking. You don't have to agree.

As far as Margarito is concerned, I'm only talking about the time before we knew he was a cheat. In no way am I supporting what he did, but you can't change what happened before we knew he was a cheat. It's my opinion that Floyd ducked him at the time the fight was being offered. That is all.

I don'tknow what this is all about, but if it doesn't control for the obvious fact that Margarito was a cheater, then it's simply a cheap shop.

The fact is, if Margarito were not cheating, and were therefore not caught doing so prior to his fight with Mosley, the likelihood is he would've downed Mosley, and then done Gods know what - beaten PBF's sicky face into a VanGogh impression, taken Pacquiao, who knows?

Point is, when it comes to us fans, anyone who judges us and our perception without allowing for the fact we were all deceived by Margarito, fans, refs, opponents and commissions, dont hit us with any of your pre-plaster-detection-shit.
