Tyson was a great example of that. Hell he even out jabbed Lewis in the first round, which was basically all he was capable of sustaining.

Tyson!:: Seriously I never saw Mike at his best being out jabbed. Not to say he was a 'great jabber' just an illustration of what trainers are talking about I suppose.

Tell me about it. Great game, but they really got allot of those guys styles wrong. In fact, pretty much all *boxers* ie back foot outfighter types you basically CANNAE fight against, because the computer controlled guys all just go forward applying pressure and the fights end up retadardly unrealistic. Ali standing toe to toe in centre ring with Tyson etc.

Plus they gave Tyson a really weak chin in the game too. You can fix it by copying him and editing the copied version. I also improved Duran's defense that way too, he was pretty much on Gatti's level in that department originally.

I also meant the 3rd Fraizer fight. But anyway I agree with your statement he wanted to and fought the best something I wish PBF did as well, so I agree there.

 

OH? Please detail to me how to do this. Because, as you said, they made his chin ridiculously weak.

 

Cant remember the name of the menu, but you know the one you click on at the main menu, below the fight option, if you wanna download fighters? In the same menu as the option to D/L fighters is one where you can look at all the fighters you've already D/Led and edit them. Along with the ones you've D/Led are the guys who are already in the game. You cant edit them but you can copy them, then you can edit the one you've copied. Sorry I cant remember what any of the actual menus are called, if the descriptions too vague let me know and I'll load up the game tomorrow and see what they're called.

Hilton outjabbing the taller, longer armed Stephane Oullet in their first fight would be a good example.

Here, in this inspired piece of video I dug out for your delectation, you can see how both men are jabbing to great effect, despite one of them having an obvious IQ, reach and height disadvantage.

I don't want to get into a drawn out debate about it, but really, you could cite Ali saying cut of the gloves after the 10th (although he showed amazing heart in the very next rounds), as lacking heart, the same as you could say Frazier "quit" on his stool , but to do so would be extremely ungenerous to say the least.

If anything, looking at the bigger picture, if ever there was a fight where two fighters showed amazing heart, it was that one.
