I just saw a segment of the interviews after podium speeches. It reminded me of a comment Lampey made in the Hamed-Kelley fight:

    "He got into Hamed's world."

I got the same impression today. Mosley was in Mayweather's world. A lot of trash talking, my suit is better than yours, yours is off the rack. Mosley bragging about GBP is his company, and so forth.

Mosley best leaving the talking to the day of the fight in the RING. All this right now is a DISTRACTION for him, a mental disadvantage. Mosley was never good at boosting or bragging, which is the RIGHT personality trait to have, IMO. It is one of the reasons why he isn't a bigger success, not with hardcore fans, because they see through all the bullshit, but with mainstream fans, who eat that crap up.

FOCUS what he needs to do in order to be able to knock out Mayweather, leave all the talking to him but quietly let all boil to an eruption on May 1st.

It just seems completely out of CHARACTER. He has this nervous laugh and feels unconfortable doing it.

He might earn more money but in MENTAL jeopardy of losing the fight.

Talking shit now wont help him either.

A man has just gotta be himself. He's a nice humble guy by nature and should stick to that. Let Floyd be the villain.

I know that it's not on Shane's character to talk shit but I just don't see how he let's Floyd talk shit about his divorce with Jin to his face and mocking him in front of the press.

Unless Shane really uses this as motivation it could fuck him up mentally by Floyd getting in his head and pissing him off.

mosley has been off a while and hopefully he is at his best.

regardless, whoever wins this bout must be viewed as the top welterweight.

That's why it's important whoever wins fight Pacquaio, the CURRENT best p4p FIGHTER in the world.

Mosley is already saying Pacquaio is next, Mayweather?....exit stage left.

A lot riding on the line March 13th and May 1st (loss).

Exactly. Cats need to not sleep on Clottey nor do Pacman need to overlook this dude just because he lost to Cotto. Manny got a very very dangerous fight this coming Saturday.

However, this press conference has gotten me even more hyped. Damn I can't wait. I'll Holla 5000

Very POSSIBLE. My bad. I'm just going by the current odds. Pacquaio is -550 and favored to KO a man never off his feet before, which is how high people are on Pacquaio right now.

He would also bring more ppv buys than Clottey at this point.

But we all know Clottey is a very LIVE underdog, physically stronger and bigger than Manny.

Always exicting when the best FIGHTER in the world goes through the ropes into the ring. Less than two weeks away!!

What if Pac destroys Clottey, & PBF wins a close dec where he potshots, hardly ever engages & does just enough "not to lose"?

If Mosley wins Pac can't be next because Floyd has a rematch clause. Shane doesn't.

Also don't expect Clottey to win. Not only is this moron not planning on changing anything about how he fights but he doesn't plan on watching any tape on Pacquiao either. He actually said that his attack is about patience and not throwing a lot of punches. Plus I think his trainer for this fight is his cutman or something because his regular trainer couldn't get out of the country.

I may be mistaken,... but I think I read somewhere that Texas is not issuing a drug test whatsoever for Pacquiao's fight with Clottey, not even that cheap obselete NSAC one,.. lol, "Not neccesary" is the explanation,... it is so fucking disgusting it's beyond a pathetic joke,... if I were Clottey,.. I'd pump myself full of anything and everything that I could find.

I don't disagree but Mosley does have a loss to Cotto on his record. A guy Pacquaio dismantled.

Aside from Baldomir and De la Hoya, Mayweather hasn't competed much in the welter division. So a better way to put it, Pacquaio beat better opponents than Mayweather at 147.
