Intriguing matchup. i know most people would simply say.. "Hearns too fast and too good for Pavlik..mismatch KO 3"...but I don't think it's as simple as that. Pavlik hits hard himself, has arguably a better chin...and looks to have better stamina. PLUS he's an inch taller than Hearns. The truth is....both men are capable of KOing the other and this fight isn't going the distance. I'll go with Tommy by KO 3 ::...but Pavlik getting up from the canvas and KOing Hearns wont surprise me either.
Pavlik does NOT have a good chin Sly! You keep repeating this as if it were fact when the opposite in fact the case. Pavlik has an average chin, at best. Strong chinned people do not get knocked down by Taylor and Zuniga. MTF
Miranda is one of the most overrated, big mouthed bums I've ever seen. If he were fighting with the likes of Benn, McClellan, Jackson, Nunn, Barkley, Eubanks, RJJ and numerous other GENUINE, hard punching middleweights of the last generation, he'd be considered a light punching journeyman. Because the MW division is shit, is has convinced people he is some murderous punching MONSTER. No. He is GARBAGE. Pavlik was dropped HARD by Taylor, who is an accurate and crisp puncher rather than a hard puncher. He was also dropped by Zuniga, who is a medicore puncher and was flash KD by Bronco McKart, if memory serves. I wouldn't agrue that Pavlik doesn't have HEART, because I think he does and has shown this on a number of occassions. However, fighters with GOOD chins do not get dropped by the calibre of fighter who have succeeded in sending Kelly to the canvas. If Zuniga and McKart dropped Pavlik, Hearns had the potential to break his fucking face. MTF
