Vic still boxing and landing. Great couple of lefts by Vic. Reminding me a bit of Zoo vs MAG - game opponent that can't do anything. Guerrero still coming forward and throwing, getting countered. Vic opens up, wants to finish it but Guerrero is talking them. Vic's round. Guerrero wants to continue in the corner.

    100 - 90 Vic

Guerrero pushed to the ground, great Vic combo afterwards! Vic loading up. Guerrero still coming, as usual, and Vic countering, as usual. Vic still loading up looking for that KO shot. Clash of heads, they brawl and Guerrero chases and lands, game kid.

    110 - 99 Vic.

RD 12 - Vic corner wants him to box

Here we go. Guerrero needs the KO, Vic dancing, countering and holding with his hands down. Vic fighting well off the back foot, Guerrero can't land and Vic's landing those lefts. Vic going for the KO lands hard shots but Guerrero takes em!

Vic swept the fight, quite enjoyable.

    120 - 108 Vic is my card.

The only impressive thing about Guerrero was his ability to absorb punishment.

he has some ability. the guy has less than 15 fights and was in with a legit champion. we shall see how he improves.

Reminds me of a young Juan Laporte taking a one-side beating against Salvador Sanchez. Laporte improved in subsequent bouts and later became champion.

Was there any way to give Guerrero 3 rounds? Or even 2?
    Shit cards.

It's possible, though not probable - I was watching a shitty stream and it was fairly obvious what was going on. 3 rounds, can't see it.

Man Darchinyan is awful. Darchinyan is a perfect example of how knock-outs can keep you relevant. It's hard to believe he beat Mijares.

Not only did he beat Mijares, he beat Arce in another fight he was supposed to lose. Albeit that the Arce fight was stopped, it was stopped late on a technical issue {cut} , so it's not like Darchinyan cannot go late if his KO power fails him early. Same with his last fight. And he has been ready to step up and fight bigger guys like Agbeko.

Besides, people are screaming out for KO's and what-not. Then they get them...and complain.:dunno::dunno:

He wasnt meant to lose the Arce fight, that was a gimme..Arce has been well shot for quite a while. If you are looking for reasons to big up Darchinyan, the Kirilov, Mijares, Pacheco and deserved win against Gorres stand out much more so.

At first I hated Vic. Hated his ego, hated his style.

Then after a temporary elation as he lay all googley-eyed on the canvass after the Donaire fight, I began to kind of like him since I felt his ego sort of got deflated to the level of his actual skill.

But now he is gradually getting back to where he was before, calls the Donaire win "lucky" (I guess Agbeko was lucky, too), and always reverts back to Mr. Krabbs style boxing when things get ugly. Fights a little dirty, too. So I am starting to dislike him again.

However, I must concede that he is just one of those freak athletes that has no business dominating good fighters with his bizarre, mistake-ridden style - yet he does anyway. You can't argue with results. I do agree that moving up in weight will negate some of his advantages at 115 and will hamper his success.

Zappavigna got outclassed. I have a feeling we will be seeing him KTFO in the near future.

He was being hyped as hell down here. I always thought he was talented but lacking a killer punch and very raw. At least he fought his heart out in the last round, it'll be a good learning curve even if he didn't really win.

Not sure about this kid other than he's lucky, dude got a gift similar to Shumenov. And much like Campillo, Angulo is not from a country where boxing is huge nor has the backing like his opponent did. Lenny should take a tune up or 2.
