Alexander-Bradley now might be one of the best matchups to be made in the sport.

Zab, the David Copperfield of Boxing.

Alexander looked very good in spots and the uppercut showed he's done his homework and could execute when it mattered...however, I felt Urango was really starting to pile it on in the two rounds before the stoppage, with Alexander increasingly throwing stay-away flurries while Urango's bodyshots had slowed him down. Bradley is too good for this guy, although it will be competitive fo sure.

Its true that Alexander looked weak at points in the fight but for some reason he always looks a little vulnerable...but how vulnerable could he be with a 369-11 amateur record

I think Alexander is just a perfectionist. And let's not forget, Urango's a good fighter.

Thats true, didnt he lose to Rock Allen in the Olympics box-offs?

Whatever happened to Rock Allen's pro career?

Urango is an average fighter who is tough nothing more.

Yep. Bradley's style is a very effective mix of swarming punches and constant activity coupled with decent defense, movement, and formidable boxing. He is not really a puncher, but he often hurts his opponents. He is not really a pure boxer, but he moves well and can win decisions due to his consistent high activity rate. Great stamina. OK chin but recovers fast.

Bradley's style will typically beat punchers a la Kendall Holt and even grizzled veterans with power like Nate Campbell. He will also typically overwhelm very good pure boxers like Lamont Peterson. But I think Devon Alexander has just the right style to seriously give Bradley trouble, or beat him outright. He is rangey, good jab, also has the stamina to keep up workrate over along fight, and he has enough power to hurt you if you get sloppy. He boxes, yes, but he also can sit down on his punches and hit you very hard either close or at a distance. He may be one of the few fighters around 140 who could actually control a fight with Bradley instead of the other way around.

Worst style matchup for Bradley. Very difficult fight for him. For both men. If Alexander had more experience & more thorough tests under his belt I would pick him in a fight with Bradley, but at this point I probably barely go with Bradley to decision Alexander since T. Bradley doesn't know how to lose yet. I'd like to see it.

I never really thought much of Urango, but it was an impressive stoppage for sure. 140 is a great division right now.

    That fight was stopped early.

By the way, Hatton is mentioned around 1000 times by Kellerman, just not by name.

I always said Kellerman was a cunt, and he is proving it again here.

I don't know he doesn't fight much but it seems like Allen beat everyone in the ammy's...Timothy Bradley watched how Rock beat Lamont Pearson in the amateurs to prepare for his fight.

He heard Kellerman had high-hopes for him and knew he was fucked. So he packed it in.

Urango is one of the few southpaw punchers, I like to watch him fight when he is on, though he was nearly KO'ed by unknown Nasser Athumani and puncher Randall Bailey not too long ago. Those did make for exciting fights.

It looks like it worked. I read that team Alexander is gunning for Zab next and Bradley by the end of the year.

Alexanders promoter flew Zab to the fight.

    wise move on alexander's part.

it's an easy win (in my opinion) over a named guy who's clearly past his prime.

plus, st. louis fans would show up knowing that the last time judah was in town, he had knocked out their hometown hero.
