This fight is like 15 years too late. In the previous 2001 attempt for a rematch I was rooting for Roy all the way to humilliate and TKO Hopkins. Right now it will be the opposite. Hopkins WILL humilliate and abuse shot Roy. This is a mismatch. Roy should be retired instead of suffering these beatings.

Stupid fight for Hopkins. He has nothing to gain here. And he's always had trouble with speed. Unlike some fighters, Hopkins has real trouble letting his hands go when his opponent is quicker than him. He needs to be willing to take one to land one. And especially at this age he's not.
What he has to gain is......satisfying his ego and, in his own mind, settling an old score....it is all in his head though. Roy is finished and Hopkins is almost finished.
