Steve Bunce insists that Gerald was alright at London Royal, and refused to stay there, flew to the states, and then that's where the real damage to his health happened. I thought that was weird, I'd never heard that claim before. Every report I've read or heard said he was in the coma in the hospital in London, not the US. I don't know where he got that from.
Kevin Mitchell's War, Baby is a great account of all the events surrounding this fight, I don't recall his version agreeing with Bunce's either
I don't like watching the end of this fight and Watson-Eubank 2 (or at least the 12th round). Quiroga-Anifowoshe isn't quite as bad but the end of that fight (the decision) is shitty to watch too.
