The reason I think his decision was right can be summed up as follows.

What did he lose by quitting?
    1. Face.
    2. The WBO title.

What Did He Gain By Quitting?

Well, {and this applies to any fighter.....} that will depend on whether the injury was likely to be, if aggravated further, career-ending or career-curtailing.

By quitting and avoiding lasting injury, the opportunity is gained to regain reputation and regain titles.

If the injury was never going to be that serious, then nothing is gained beyond what was already available.

Thus, the question is, do you believe the medical experts when they say that the 9 remaining minutes of the 10th, 11th and 12th provided ample opportunity for the continued deterioration of Klitschkos physical condition to the point of no return? And if you don't, what reason do you have for not believing them?

Why?.. because I want it to STICK.. I want something shameful to stick to his legacy forever,.. I can't get him beaten in the ring lately,.. and it's frustrating me to the extent that I'm having delusions and hallucinations,..I loved it,.. I loved when I could proudly declare once upon a time that white cant fight,.. I want those days back,.. the best I can do,.. is help blow up this incident,..and hope to hell it's this incident,.. that defines Vitali's legacy when the broader populous looks back on boxing history, and remembers this dark age where a pair of white coward's kept a stranglehold on the weakest heavyweight division the world had ever seen.

That's why the super-heavyweight division MUST, MUST be created to stop these cheats from having unfair size advantages.

First up mandatory for Wlad,.. - Julius Long,..
First up mandatory for Vitali,.. - Valuev relinquishes his right as the number one mandatory challenger, Alexander Dmitrenko becomes mandatory challenger.

:bears: All hail Max Kellerman's ethnic cleansing fetish! Rumble young man, rumble.
