Because styles makes fights and Khan is in no hurry to get KO'ed. There's no knee jerk reactions in this thread. The same people who think Madaina would KO Khan tonight, thought the same before tonight.

I'd love to see the bitch beater Valero make his 140 debut vs Maidana.

Funeka has the worst luck in boxing.

yea he does. at the same time, he'll most likely retain his #1 ranking and will fight for the title again next time.

I think he would too. Maidana has horrendous technique. I thought I was a fan of his but I didn't remember him looking that bad against Ortiz. Against Cayo he looked like a guy who only recently started boxing. Why isn't his team fine tunning his technique? This guy could be a star with the right trainer.

Anyway Cayo fought like an idiot. If ever there was a guy who idolized RJJ too much and actually brought it into the ring with them it was Cayo. He kept his arms low just like RJJ used to do.

Anyway unless Maidana cleans up his technique I'll never sing his praises again. The KO was a beauty though.

By the way, that idiot Guzman is now calling out Maidana claiming he wants to avenge his fellow country man in Cayo. I think Guzman would beat Maidana pretty badly and would probably take most of his punches too, the few that would actually land.

Maidana rapes Guzman. Maidana is MUCH stronger, and hits much harder then Funeka... and he'll be on Guzman's ass from the opening bell. And Guzman wont be able to hurt El Chino like he did the soft chinned Funeka.

Guzman aint goin nowhere at 140. Bradley, Alexander, Khan, Maidana, and even Ortiz will all own him badly.

I think the only contender Guzman might beat at 140 is Paulie, and shit I dunno even know about that.

My dream matchup at the moment is to see Guzman vs a prime Tszyu or Pryor.

Fuck no. Have you seen Maidana fight? The dude barely even knows how to throw a punch correctly. If Guzman uses his defensive skills Maidana might not hardly touch him.

Hopefully it gets made. IF the cheating cunt Guzman makes weight, Maidana grinds him to the ground.

Prediction - Guzman shows up for the weigh-in at 155. He can't understand how this happened. He usually can sweat off the last 15 lb's on the final day, no problem.

Maidana pole axes the little fatty into the 3rd row anyways.

Unfortnutely Guzman would win that fight now easily. Castillo is BEYOND shot! Prime Castillo vs Guzman I'd pay to see. Prime JLC gives Guzman a cruel and slow beating.

Maidana is the classic punchers chance in a fighter. He may beat scrubs like Cayo and unproven guys with no heart like Ortiz but Guzman is tough as nails and dispite being an unprofessional prick is talented and skilled. I think he beats Maidana who is just sloppy as all fuck.

You ever seen Guzman-Barrios? Madaina is better than Barrios at everything. Madaina would fuck Guzman up.

Lost a split decision and Guzman had issues with his pressure. Considering that Madaina is a much better fighter than Barrios I imagine he would do a "bit" better than Barrios.

Don't know how much better I'd consider Maidana over Barrios if at all. It's arguable he's a better puncher based on his KO ratio but even that is debatable if you factor in his competition for the majority of it.

As shitty as Barrios is I couldn't sit here and definitely say Maidana is better than him technique wise, which says a lot on how shitty Maidana is.

Barrios doesn't do anything better than Madaina. It's really not that hard to see if you watch the 2 guys fight.

it's funny that barrios was brought up into this. he didn't make weight vs. guzman and was forced to give up the title.
