Mayweather 9-3. You MIGHT be right about a late compassionate stoppage if Mosley turns out to have aged, significantly in his 15 months out. Ironically, for the sake of Floyd's legacy, a stoppage would probably do him NO favours since to all intents it would just be confirmation of Shane's shotness, since we all know there's no way Floyd stops a non-shot Shane.

I would have less e-feuds also if I chose the safe route and stuck with teh consensus around here that boxing is going downhill and the best fighters were from generations past. All of my so-called "e-feuds" stem from the fact that it is deemed that I overrated active and recent fighters. I don't go out of my way to just annoy people, contrary to popular opinion. :: Also if I hated an "annoying" personality like Mayweather and agreed with everyone who says that he ducks all of the best fighters and takes easy fights only...I would be LOVE around here beyond measure.

I disagree (if i may) with one thing though....a stoppage of Shane, even if he's 39, would still be impressive, considering Shane hasn't been stopped before and that he looked relatively good in his last outing.

Sly before we move on, hopefully for good (I'll do my best to make this the last thing I say here), let me suggest: Its not the fact you disagree but the way you do it. If I disagree with you, like I did in the original p4p thread I try to do so respectfully. You can go back and read those posts I was CAREFUL not to insult you or your view point and at moments I came over abrasive I came back doubly respectful in my next posts, so as not to create some sort of feud. You disagree dismissively and are quick to throw around insults. It's just called manners, mate, not being a sheep. UGTBK has more unorthodox views than you on allot of things but he gets on with folk ok. Fine, you've made it clear that you dont care if you piss people off, all well and good, but you can't then piss and moan when threads go off course.

Anyway......back to topic. I agree it would be somewhat impressive, but i think given that NOBODY would think it was possible for him to KO a non-shot Shane it would probably count against the relevance of the win in most peoples perceptions. The best result for Floyd would probably be dominant UD with a flash KD or 2 late.

I agree that Floyd wouldn't have stopped a prime Shane. No doubt. Stopping Shane would be more impressive than another "boring" UD win though. If Floyd potshots his way to victory like he did against baldomir, Marquez and De La Hoya everyone will be criticizing him as usual. Stopping him outright would get him more fans. You know this too.

Well yeah I agree with your last point there. I suppose Im thinking of things more from the view point of his legacy and you from his marketability and popularity NOW. And from that angle you're totally right.

With all due respect....stopping SHane is better for his legacy since people think Shane is old and that Floyd fights boring in his biggest fights. It wouldn't just be good for his popularity but bad for his legacy. That makes no sense at all...
