In Pride and Dream, fighters who stalled or messed around lost 10% of their purse and up to 20%.
Time for the UFC to come up with a similar penalty system in my mind. Then we'll see what's up! :crafty:

I used to think the yellow card was stupid in Pride, but after last night I have to agree with you Hanzy, they need to take points for running and stalling. If Anderson would have been taken a point in round 5 or even 4 it would have forced him to fight. As well as taking a point from Meia in the first round.

I agree that it's needed and boxing should enforce something like this too.

If Anderson didn't get the hint even when the entire crowd is booing him loudly, then I think the purse penalty method will do the job! There's got to be a change because this is bad for the UFC's reputation. They haven't been putting on ppvs worth the prices which they're charging lately.

Also, did you guys check out Dana White's Twitter? He's going to war with a whole army of pissed off fans. Check out some of the stuff the fans are saying! One guy is making a FuckDanaWhite.com website which streams live UFC ppvs!

@danawhite I'll repay ur fans for u. Before each PPV I will b streaming 50 different links where u can watch UFC PPV for free. In HQ !! ;)

@danawhite Gspisgay.com will stream free PPV Events now and Fuckdanawhite.com will also stream it free once it's up. Strikeforce #1

@danawhite U own twitter now Dana. Why don't u take ur Hyped up blackberry and shove it n ur ass, sideways! Anderson vs. Santos Catch Weigh

@danawhite I refuse to ever pay for a ufc event again. Strikeforce has blown away the last 5 ufc events. Watch fights for free MMA-Core

@danawhite Dana White puts himself on the TV like he's a fucking TV star. What other orginazation does that? WWE Vince McMahon!! Fuck Dana

@danawhite You under pay your fighters 4 the ammount if work they do and u tie thier hands behind thier back with ur insulting contract !

@danawhite what hotel did the #ufc fighters stay at spending all their peanuts, while you stay in luxury on Lorenzos dime #ufc #mma

@danawhite We all can't wait to hear about how Lorenzo fires you and sends you back to aerobics class! Pay the fighters more !!! #mma #ufc

@danawhite I heard you Swallow. At Least thats what Silva says #ufc #mma

@danawhite Just curious how your ass feels after last nights pounding

I loved the yellow cards but the athletic commission would never agree to it so you can forget about it

Refs just need to enforce the rules that are already in place. You can't stall, Silva was warned, but it should have happened sooner so a DQ would have been a legit concern.
