Do we have the answer to the question we've been asking all along? Why PBF hasn't fought the Cottos, Pacquiaos, and Margaritos? Is PBF afraid of steroid-laden opponents? Doesn't that make him more of a puss than those who are not? In the final analysis, isn't PBF just a puss in a cock's game?
Mayweather doesn't know who's on steroids with any degree of certainty. There's a good chance he's already beaten guys who have juiced in the past. He's just been a bit spooked by Pacquiao's ascendancy and has since bought into the talks Manny's success is because of roiding.
As far as I know, Fightbeat does not do any testing of its posting members, so I would suggest Post Enhancing Drugs for threads like these. Or at the very least, shoot xylocaine into your weak hand when typing.
Floyd spends far too much time fussing over this "undefeated" stuff. I mean the guy doesn't even have 40 fights, which is all the proof you need of how his "undefeated" record means jack shit. If you are 145-0-0 {123} then that's a record.
Uncle Buck agrees with that,.. put on the pads, protect your shins. Awful Irishman, awful delivery,..
I said FIGHTS.....not WINS.....a doozie if ever there was one, that leaves your bellicose Antipodean self swiping at thin air....
Yes it does,.. since your delivery from the bowling crease hit the boundary at square leg,.. what a rotter, you deserve a trophy, with a clover in a vase for worst windmill of the week with that,.. awful Irishman, pigs of yorkshire mate, pigs of yorkshire.
Mayweather isn't a fan on a message board. And the boxing fraternity is a small one where trainers, cutmen and sparring partners are routinely passed around. He didn't get his suspicions that certain boxers are on roids by sitting on his couch and watching a fight.
Naw its just an excuse. I think before his fight with Marquez, Floyd said "Legacy don't pay the bills" or something to that extent. He just doesn't think like a champion. He doesn't have the swag of a champion where if someone tells him "This guy can beat you" to say "Ok lets get the fight done". Floyd's mindset is about making as much money as he possibly can while at the same time taking the most minimal risk that he possibly can. Its that simple. One would think that a guy with his talent and who's made that much money wouldn't make the excuse of not making a fight because "the money isn't right" or because of "Steroids". Seems Floyd at his core is really an insecure dude.
Save for the De La Hoya rematch, I've never heard of Floyd walking away because the money wasn't right for a fight. Heck, even Shane walked away from Oscar because he wasn't getting much for that third fight (maybe a dumb move but still). Every fighter is out to get the most money. Once you're in a position to cherry pick, that's what you do. That's the way the game goes.
Well he turned down 8 million for Margarito because "Margarito hadn't beaten anybody" and while I believe Margarito has always been overrated, 8 million is alot of money to turn down for a guy that truly believes he is the best. Just my observation.
Perhaps so but I fail to see the relevance to the thread or my post regarding steroids and reluctance. And I agree with you about Margarito - in fact I once wrote a long-winded article about it on this site. But that's neither here nor there. I'm pretty sure Floyd had his own reasons for turning down the fight - like opting out of his contract with Arum that wouldn't have paid him more than $8-10 mil for fights against Oscar, Hatton and Cotto. Floyd felt he was worth more. At the time, the idea of Floyd being worth and getting paid more seemed ludicrous but I'd say it turned out pretty well for him. Not everything is a matter of "duck" or "avoiding."
