    bullhist. Dana is just saying that to show he feels for the people who paid to watch that fight. At the very worst he won't make Anderson headline ppvs anymore but he's not gonna cut him.

    Nah if he fights like this again, after all of this embarassement and publicity, he ruins his value. No one will sign him to a multi fight deal. The most another orginzation will do is put him on a fight to fight contract.

    Dana is right, silva needs to get some fear in him. I dont know if his ego is too big or what, but he cant just not do shit in the ring.

    BTW, UFC makes just as much money with silva than without. Right now, UFC has the muscle to get away with this kind of talk. UFC is bigger than Silva.

    Sonnen WILL take it to him. The problem is that Sonnen is a boring fighter himself and has never met a BJJ expert that didn't submit him.

    Personally I want to see Sonnen in with Silva just to see Anderson fight off his back again.

    Dana's way too easy on him.First thing I would do is take him off main event status and make him a prelim fighter ,fighting cans.

    Dana White is just doing his job right now. He is the UFC head cheerleader and it makes sense to 'stick up' for the UFC by openly criticizing Anderson.

    If he was serious, I agree that he would be doing this in private.

    Dana's pulling a con AGAIN. He's probably legitimately angry over the antics though. If they really wanted a better fight, they would have him move up a division.

    A GSP/Anderson fight would be an easy victory for Anderson and that seems to be the UFC's preference instead of having him move up.

    Anderson is more important to the UFC than Dana White is. Dana White doesn't actually do anything. He's just riding coattails of the Fertittas and just happens to be a close friend of theirs and gets to make a lot of money in the process.

    I hate on Dana a lot on here, but i've found his reaction to last weekend's 'fight' refreshing. This statement might be a bad idea...Silva's got a big ego on him. If he takes this personally he may go out of his way to call Dana's bluff.

    Shut up Hanzy. You know that is ridiculous. Riding the coat tales of the brothers makes no sense. They dont do shit, but put up money. Dana runs this shit and the brothers let him.
