All the talk is of Kessler-Froch, and Adamek-Asseola... but lets not forget Angulo-Julio.

El Perro will probably slaughter "The love child" but then again Julio can punch, and as easy as Angulo is to hit it COULD be an interesting fight. Still, Angulo KO 6.

Yes, I know Angulo is fighting, the squat, slow, midget has his own 12 page 45,000 word write up on Maxboxing, the home of limited shite fighters.

I was gonna post "who" but then decided that the post would be too short and not contribute much and would be a tad disrespectful to the person starting this thread so I'm now officially adding "cares"

Angulo is nothin special, but I like him. He is fun to watch.

Williams, and Martinez would wipe thier asses with him however.

    I like it.

I think we should dedicate this thread to worldplay.

    It's what Angulo would want.

Just like Andy Lee did, 8 years ago or something.

I mean, the guys nick name is "DOG".

"Ahm A Dog And A Dog, A Dog And A Dog"......stick that on yer 24/7

Julio trained at the gym I go to for this fight. I saw him around all the time and he looks fit.

But Angulo is the bigger guy, punches harder, and Julio is just not that fast I don't think.

    Angulo KO's him.

It amazes me that prior to getting exposed by Quintana... HBO was hyping up Julio to be the next Tito.

Julio must be tiny. It's just the sort of Latino Molasses Midget-Fest that would get the juices flowing at Maxboxing.

Angulo's listed at 5'10. Pretty average height for a JM. And Angulo is the naturally larger man. His physical strength edge will be apparent.

Though the last time I picked El Perro to blow out an opponent... it was Kermit the frog. But Julio isnt on Cintron's level.

I don't think Angulo could possible be 5'10"......I mean, he looked around 5'8" when he fought Andy Lee, perhaps the way he was crouched over.

That said I think he is a quart too slow, which is a pity as he seems ballsy enough.

Surely you have to mean that they sparred together or something.

And yeah... Angulo is slow as they come. He made Cintron look fast, and Cintron is slow!

I shutter to think what a Martinez-Angulo matchup would look like.

btw - if Cotto beats Foreman, I have a feeling that we'll see Cotto-Angulo.

Even if Cotto is a shell of himself, after the vicious beating he took from Pacquiao, he'd bash Angulo up.

Foreman stands a better chance against Cotto I reckon.

Yeah Angulo is a pretty winnable fight for Cotto. Miguel can still do well as long as he doesnt fight Williams, or Martinez.

I don't understand why Angulo doesn't rematch Cintron.

Kerm already said he has no interest in the rematch.

Angulo has been trying, but Cintron knows he got lucky the first time by catching a sick Angulo so he's avoiding it. Right now Cintron has got a scheduled asskicking from Williams lined up.

I'm going with the upset here.

It'd be about time if Julio didn't choke. Judging from his loss to Kirkland though, it's hard to imagine his beating Angulo. We'll see.

Well Kirkland is quicker and puts a lot more pressure on.

    Angluo is lead-footed.

Julio might have 3 loses, but he's never lost to a right hander. That should give him encouragement. Still, he's gonna stopped in this fight.

Julio is lead footed also though. Theres really nothing that Julio does better then Cintron, and the Frog BARELY escaped w/a win on a night that El Perro was probably under the weather.

I wouldnt mind if you're right though. Poor Julio deserves at least one big win in his career. I just cant see it happening.

Cintron barely escaped? I thought he won that fight handily. And not without a good amount of offense.

Double - I was thinking the same thing. Cintron won that fight clear, it wasn't even close.

Cintron badly faded down the stretch, and did a good amount of holding in the later rounds. Kerm has crap stamina, which will get him killed with Williams.

But Julio just isnt as good as Cintron, so Angulo should win this.

Apparently Angulo came to weigh-in late looking disinterested, and will now be fined 15K. I hope Perro's mind is firmly on the job, or else maybe we will see an upset tomorrow.
