Not really, he replied to Wlad's "call out" video and said he wanted the brothers to fight eachother and figure out who the champ was and he would fight that one.

Yeah,..I know,.. "EXPOSED!!" ...and nothing since,.. usually he'd have a press release per day,.. degrading them, degrading thier opponents, degrading the choice of opponents, every little thing he could,..But now that the pressure is on,... what does his promoter say?... "Haye needs a hard earned rest" ... despite having a very minimal amount of fights in the last 2 years, he wont even respond to Wlad calling him a pussy.

So there you go ladies and gentleman,.. YOUR heavyweight saviour.

Was it predictable that Haye would go blank Feebs?.. You're not really that biased you know,.. Adam-ant is the most biased Haye groupie on this board,.. and he'd be rather mild compared to some of the British forums I've inspected.

Obsessed can be interchanged with jealous in most cases. Vargas wasn't the only fighter, "obsessed" with ODH. Add to the list, PBF.

shit!....i just typed out a frickin big, wordy response to this and somehow lost it all. Fuck, it was the longest post i've done in a long time. I'll hopefully muster the will to re-write the damn thing tomorrow. But rest assured, it blew your accusation of my bias right out of the water!

You have always taken Haye's side, through the first negotiations with the Klitschko's, to his withdrawal, to his selection of opposition, and now his subsequent silence and refusal to fight the Klitschkos once again,.. biased Adam-ant, biased..:crafty:. I don't accuse, I think it's pretty clear your the most staunch Haye fan,.. (groupie) ..on this board,.. but you are mild in comparison to the bunch regularly spotted on British forums..

By the time of their second & third fights, that flowed in both directions, too. Ali became gradually more possessed of Frazier, as Frazier had long since been of him.

A little surprised no one has mentioned a prominent (& worthy) case of most peoples' lifetime --- Pryor with Leonard. Pryor desperately wanted to prove himself there...& may've been even more desperate for the paycheque which would surely accompany it. Either way, it hurt him terribly to never get that bout.

Basilio became hung-up on Robinson, & joining him firmly in that regard was Fullmer. It was said Louis trained harder, longer & fiercer for his return match with Schmeling than any other foe in his long career, "eating, sleeping & drinking the German, & everything he had inflicted upon him."

Another great example would be Tunney with Dempsey. Tunney figured if he couldn't grasp the championship in the division below Dempsey, his next best bet to make the noise needed for a meeting between the two would be to walk the beat of the champ's trail. It's no coincidence some of Dempsey's higher-profile victims found themselves the prey of Tunney. Careful match-making, for certain. Tunney prepped himself as well for Dempsey as ever he could have when they fought.

Graziano with Zale, & likewise in return, albeit to a somewhat lesser extent.

Usually, obsession is the mark of a fierce competitor, but sometimes --- moreso in recent eras, obviously, finances have played an increasing role.

Pryor said after the Blackmoore fight that he was offered half a million to fight Leonard, but said no because he wanted a million.

Frazier is definitely one of the prime examples since he appears to still detest Ali to this day. You hear about him finally "forgiving" Ali and then a couple weeks later you hear him talking about how proud he is that Ali is brain-damaged.

    Mayweather, Marquez with PACQUAIO.

Barrera and Morales obsessed with each other, Morales more so.

Pryor's decision was understandable at the time, though. Everyone was caught up in Leonard's financial pull.

He ended up making over a mil for fight Arguello, a more winnable fight, so I guess it was a good business decision.

I don't like Pryor's chances against those fighters at WW.

I rate Pryor's chances against Leonard better than most. Not sure I'd favour him outright, though. I disagree strongly with the many who expect Leonard would have schooled him, though.

Not sure about Pryor's long-term future in the division, had he moved up during his pomp.

Holmes with Foreman is probably the craziest one

Even by Holmes' lofty standards, some of his exaggerations regarding Foreman --- whom he despises, which is Holmes' modus operandi for most human beings --- are outright embarrassing.

Not entirely sure if, "Obsession" is the correct word for it, but Lewis had Tyson on his mind for an awful long time.

I never did. Pryor would not have beaten Leonard. No way, no how. It took everything he had and a questionable water bottle just to get past Arguello.

If Pryor wanted a piece of Leonard that badly, he would have taken the fight.

Mayweather's obsession with PACQUAIO could render him his first loss and by KO. Style wise the philipino creates huge problems for him.

His JEALOUSY of Pacman could have an effect of ruining his focus to always fight his fight. He probably wouldn't be content with the potshotting and running, and fight out of his ordinary style.

Result would be he would be STRETCHED by Manny Pacquaio.

yea, that's funny. btw, weren't they scheduled to fight on ppv at one point?

why did that get canceled? holmes would've taken him to school as he would've in the late 70s and early 80s.

That fight was scheduled to take place in a stadium somewhere in Texas. It was arranged by two convicted fraudsters. Ticket sales were slow and the whole thing was pulled. One fight-writer said that 5,600 people in a Stadium for the fight would look like 3 freckles on Rosie O'Donnells back.

Also adding fuel to the fire would be the adulation of fans and media towards Pacquaio, reminding Floyd, it is the Philipino who the PEOPLE love and admire.

Floyd says he doesn't care about that, but it is not true.
