This one would definitely be a war. "Pick em" fight.. Trinidad punched harder and Basilo had the perfect style for him, but Basilio could really rip hard to the body and his chin was iron. Tito might not be able to get him out. My heart would take Tito via decision in a 12 rounder. In a 15 rounder, I wouldn't be shocked if Basilio got to him late, even though I think Trinidad had excellent stamina.
Trinidad would actually fuck him up. trinidad is an offensive machine with crippling power in both hands, pinpoint accurate and relentless. his only weakness was fighters that moved constantly..or else jabbed him up consistently and were hard to nail...give him a Basilio bleeder and Carmen looks like a gargoyle after the fight...which would only last 6 rounds.
And no...I will will never pick Tito in a mythical match up against a world class opponent his own size. Ever.

Good point. Basillo fought at middleweight, successfully so in reality it'd be the middleweight Basillo versus the 'welterweight' Tito. Same result.
Basilio would definitley outfight Trinidad... I dont know where some of you got the idea that Basilio and Rocky Graziano are the same person... Basilio had a chin of steel, was utterly relentless and strong as hell... he'd go to war with Trinidad and he'd WIN Such a great fighter, too bad many of you are too ignorant to know better
