Past prime or not he just tore Margarito apart in one of his biggest wins ever and there's nobody at 147 better than him not named Mayweather and Pacquiao (And that's left to be seen in the ring). Floyd is not prime either, he's had 1 fight in the last 3 years for fuck's sake. All I know is that had Pacquiao taken Mosley instead of Clottey he would have been looked like God by the Pacquiaoheads which would've been even worse. Shane is legit at 147, top 3 in the division with perhaps the best claim as being the real champ at Welter. So stop bitching motherfuckers and enjoy the freaking fight. Who know, shit may happen and we may have a shocker here.

What are you on about? I was actually a HUGE fan of that video to be honest. I actually almost became a fan of Fraud after I saw that video. It was the funniest and most awesome thing I ever saw from a sports star. I couldn't imagine in a million years anybody in sports pulling sh*t like that where they have a cameraman following them around the house and showing where he keeps his money and then counting that sh*t for the world to see...only to have his house robbed a few weeks later.:laughing:

Obviously I'm rooting for Pac here, but it's a catch 22. If Mosley beats Floyd, Pac is going to give Shane a beating that would make Vernon Forrest wince. (Floyd already negotiated his way out of that beating.)

Prime Shane versus Pac would have been a great fight, but this will just be that end of career beating that happens to so many greats right before they retire.

I'd like for Shane to win. Floyd has become an annoying, and arrogant prick, and I'd love to see how he reacts when he's finally beaten. Plus Shane is one of the nicest, and most humble great fighters we've seen since Arguello, and he's paid his dues and always fought the best. I want him to win, but I really cant see it happening.

Who's bitching? This was a great fight for Floyd to take and a legitimate challenge. I've never said anything else. He gets a lot of credit just for making this fight. Shane is old let's not deny it. He is NOT prime or near it but he is still effective and a top fighter at the weight.

I'm not looking to diminish FMs win or loss, I'm just speaking truth which in this case is: Shane is near 40 and certainly nowhere near his prime. If Shane was fighting Pac I'd say the same thing because the facts remain the same. Shane is a top fighter but he is old.
