Alexis Arguello & Joe Louis (technically perfect punchers, patient stalkers with slowish feet) Floyd Patterson & Mike Tyson (that peak-a-boo D'Amato defensive style, the leaping left hook) Shane Mosley and Ray Robinson (the upright head placement, the extreme commitment to shots) David Haye and Naseem Hamed (the unpredictable and fast single pot shotting counter punching, the deteriorating balance with punches in combination) Arthur Abraham and Khaosai Galaxy (purely in terms of using brute strength to overcome ostensible crudeness) Vitali Klitchsko and Muhammed Ali (the use of range, leaning away from shots and coming back over from sways with counters. Where Ali used speed Vitali utilises his height, but towards a similar stylistic method, IMO) Im sure others can come up with way, way better ones than that....
Actually, nothin wrong with that comparison. The way he uses his head movement and body to avoid punches using his height...is very similar...thats about the only way they are alike but I agree.

You don't see a parallel in their method of defence & countering? It wasn't a prerequisite of the thread that both guys should be as good/graceful as each other! As you obviously know since you listed Louis and Trinidad! ::
The Arguello-Louis one is a sound comparison. How about Danny Lopez & Felix Trinidad, or Carmen Basilio & Joe Frazier?

This is another weird one that will sound stupid to some people but.... Don Curry & Mike Tyson (the way they'd look to counter by closing distance on a slip and throwing short aggressive hooks & uppercuts) Again just one aspect of their style/technique
Morales and Arguello. Similar punching technique, footwork, movement etc. Morales is just wilder. The recent Pacquiao with Duran, vaguely. Relentless, polished offensive machines, and particularly the way Pacman has started to simultaneously slip shots and land his own, only nowhere near as well ;) This is only a vague comparison though, because for example Pacman is not an infighter, which is a huge part of Duran's game, Pacquiao is also less reliant on his jab. Mosley does indeed remind me of Robinson, the motion of the shots, and even the footwork/stance etc. Mosley obviously isn't as good, but there is a stylistic similarity. Dirrell and a girl boxing for the first time. Junior Witter with a turd being flushed down the toilet. Arabham with Eric Crumble. Stylistically similar, Arabham just has a better chin and slightly harder punch.
Ricardo Lopez & Miguel Cotto (the methodical well balanced combination punching to head and body, the committed front foot weight distribution and lean while throwing lefts in combos) Lopez is obviously much the better & faster at it.
