I think the smartest thing for Shane is not to get married again. He's been quoted lately talking badly about Jin. Saying she was verbally abusive and that she bounced once she thought he was on the downside of his career and the money was going to dry up. So Shane needs to either not marry again or get a full prenup this time.

I think the biggest failures for his career was mixing family and business. Had he kept his father out of his corner his career might have been better. Had he kept Jin out of his management, his dollars might have been better. I also don't think having Judd Bernstein repping him is the smartest move either.

He certainly seems like a very nice guy but who really knows. Maybe he's just shy in front of the cameras and has no confidence in his speech, but for all we know he could be the devil himself in private...

 

I agree. That's why Jin was able to be such a bitch to him. He was never the type to smack that bitch in the mouth and tell her to STFU. I think Bernstein is taking advantage of him too. I don't know how he thinks he can win a court case when his client is on video contradicting their whole case. Could it be Judd just wants to get paid?

I actually think Shane should have went with Arum at some point in his career. The guy may be a snake but the boxers he represents usually make millions. Can you believe Shane is getting only 6 mil for this and that is his highest payday? I always thought he got that for the 2nd ODLH fight but they said Arum played hard ball and he wound up with about 3 or 4 mil.

 

Well you'd think that after all the people who've spoken about him and met him and were interviewed that someone would say something bad about him if that was the case. Can you think of anyone short of Victor Conte and maybe Jin Mosley? Hell even most of Mosley's past opponents and almost everyone in the sport all speak highly of Mosley and love the guy.

I was just being devil's advocate. I also happen to believe that he's genuinely a nice guy.

I just had to address REED's post which seemed to place mosley up there with Mother Teresa or some selfless martyr. We mustn't go too far, we don't really know the dude personally.

 

No one is 100% what they seem but nearly everyone who has met or interacted with Shane likes the guy. It's not an act.

In fact, most warned him against Jin...clearly was a hood rat. REED's take on Shane is dead on.

 

Are all of his children with Jin?

At least he's consistent...most (including myself) think he would have been a more complete fighter if he'd left his dad when he was 24 or 25 vs sticking with him that long.

Not surprising he did the same with Jin, who most warned him against.

 

If Shane was so nice he wouldn't have lied about his drug use or for that matter taken them to begin with.
