Floyd dominated. Nobody should be shocked. Pacquiao would have a chance but Mayweather would still have to be favored.

Typical Pac fans always trying to get a fight with somebody washed up. God forbid Pac actually fights a fighter coming off an impressive win anytime soon.

Yes you are right. Floyd Mayweather comes to mind. We'll see.

Mayweather held his left glove low early and Mosley surprised him with the speed of his right hand once. Mayweather then picked his left glove up and after that it was impossible for Mosley to land anything on him. Floyd with a high guard - forget it.

As I said before, Mosley stood no chance against a quick, moving guy anymore. Margarito was stylistically a perfect opponent for an old fighter. Mayweather was not. This combined to the fact that Floyd's speed and skill level are up there with the very best in the history made this a mismatch

Agreed..PLUS....I didn't factor in that Shane would have fought to survive in teh 2nd half of teh fight. I thought Shane would be pressing for teh KO until teh final bell (as he usually does)..and THIS Shane would have been stopped clearly as he would have given Mayweather the chance to land the clean left hook or right hand.

What NO ONE EXPECTED (including me) was that Floyd was the stronger man last night.

Nah it wasn't that...Floyd, like he did against Zab Judah...adjusted. He stayed agressive but this time behind an aggressive an consistent jab to head and body which sapped Shane's energy and discouraged Shane from throwing. Shane basically got worn down. Now I admit (and am saddened) that Shane certainly showed his age somewhat....but Floyd would have done the same thing to the Shane that fought Mayorga and Margarito.

Prime Shane would have made it competitive but still lost a close decision.

No way. I dunno how Lederman gave Mosley that round either.

Shane won ONE round in that fight...and that was round 2.

    119-109 Mayweather.

Agreed. The first round could have been scored even since neither did much, or it could have gone to Floyd because he landed one clean, solid right hand.

    Nonsense.

Floyd's JAB would control Manny....think Erik Morales...and Floyd's counterpunching will discourage manny from throwing as many punches...think Marquez. Also Floyd's hands are heavier than people realize....think.......

    MOSLEY!

I also think that Floyd counters Pac all night long. Pac can get pretty careless and predictible in the exchanges. With that and the size advantage that Floud has, I see Floyd winning pretty handily.

Mayweather had x1000 boxing IQ over Shane, always had.

    He is a smart SOB.

Agree about careless, but Pac is anything but predictable. His punches come from weird angles and with tremendous speed.

Yeah, I was impressed! :kidcool: Floyd fought the way he SHOULD'VE been fighting for a long time. He should've been doing that against Oscar, Marquez, etc.
