    Smart ass? Jesus, relax.

That was a real question. Basically I give em' both a great shot at beating each other and I can see a lot of ways the fight can go. Haven't made up my mind yet.

I'm going with Floyd to win. If not by late round KO, then by decision. Floyd can step up his game anytime it seems. Plus I thought Pacman wasn't too hot against Marquez. And he was getting tagged and reddened in the face by Clottey.
Floyd probably goes down as top 10 of all time with a convincing win over Pacman.

Near to a coin-toss, but I am just going to go quietly with Pacquiao's blazing speed, first-class endurance, jolting power, high volume, & awkward offense.

    It's a remarkable, remarkable package.

It would be a facinating styles matchup

The difference in the end will be PBF's strength & size advantage.

Manny will make PBF fight, he throws punches in bunches from weird angles & is great at getting of first, but he does leave himself open in the process, particularly to RH's.

It's just that you have to have ridiculous reflexes to take advantage of it.

PBF has those type of reflexes & has a great RH counter.
He is also hard to catch.

However, If the size/ strength differential was in Manny's favour as much as it is in PBF's favour, he would overpower PBF with his workrate & combos, basically just out-bully & out-work him, and walk through the occasional counter.

As it is in PBF's favour, I see PBF walking Manny down staying incredibly tight defensively and countering him often between Manny's combos.

As Manny is unlikely to fight to merely last the distance, and will always be trying to win, he will probably absorb too much punishment and get stopped in the late rounds.

However fights are won in the ring, not on message boards.
As such neither man deserves to be credited with the others scalp.

I still think Pacquiao wins by stoppage.

Speed kills as Mayweather well knows, and Pacquiao is faster than Floyd in terms of both hand and foot speed. It's been a long time since Mayweather found himself at such a speed disadvantage. Also, Pacquiao's straight, southpaw left is one of the most dangerous punches in the entire sport and what little trouble Mayweather has had to date tended to come from quick lefties.

I think Manny will land and land often. That is never a good thing for an opponent.

That said, this fight would be a virtual pcik 'em, and I wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather Jr was able to find a way to win. He has proved himelf a versatile and very smart fighter with better power than he is given credit for and a lot of natural strength. He might just as well find a way to stop Manny.

I'd be surprised if the fight went to the cards. The only way it might do would be if Floyd resorted to trying to pot shot Manny as he comes forward.

Manny can't stop Marquez who has been hurt many times before and isn't particularly elusive but he's going to stop elusive fast much bigger Floyd who hasn't come close to being stopped as yet?

    Come on man.
