There have been some fun ones over the years, poking fun at various fighters & situations. Here're a few which stand out in my mind...

Joe Frazier is in a house with his belt. He's seen left-hooking Muhammad Ali out the window. In the consecutive shots, Frazier is seen opening various doors in the house, which symbolises letting other opponents have a shot at his belt, while taunting Ali. He opens one door a crack, & it slams down on top of him like an old Warner Bros. cartoon, with Foreman having beaten it down. George is standing with the belt in the next image, Frazier trampled underfoot, & a bloodied Ali is approaching in the distance with a sledgehammer, Foreman obliviously turned from him.

Another was Shane Mosley, with his IBF belt at 135lbs, knocking on a room door marked, "147." Mosley is saying, "I know you're in there...let me in!" On the other side of the door, Oscar De La Hoya, Felix Trinidad & Ike Quartey are all on the other side with panicked looks. De La Hoya, in particular, was painted in hilarious terror, complete with speech bubble, "Aye dios mio! He's here!"

I wonder if there's an online archive for this sort of thing. There have been plenty involving Mike Tyson, too. There was a great one involving Kostya Tszyu & a mad scientist, who was creating, "Hurtado-stein"

That comic was bullsh*t. They made it look like Ali had any chance in hell of competing with Superman. Superman would've blown his ass to Kingdom Come with merely a fart!

DC comics published that in the late 70s' - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superman_vs._Muhammad_Ali

Ali also had a short-lived Saturday Morning Cartoon.

I got an e-mail from Diamond comics recently. They are re-releasing this in Hardcover in November along with a commemorative statue to go along with it.
