    Zab Judah or Shane Mosley

Floyd has fought two speedy slick American Welterweight champions and both fights had similarities:

    1. Floyd was the agressor
    2. Floyd was stunned/hurt early
    3. Floyd figured them out after the first few rounds and dominated
    4. Both men were reduced to throwing very few punches down the stretch.

Who gave Floyd the more difficult fight?

I'd say Zab, only because he gave him more trouble for more rounds. Really Shane only really did great in that 2nd round, and decent in the 1st.

After the second, it was all downhill. Zab at least for the first half of the fight was competitive.

I voted for Zab because I thought he was competitive overall and there was more drama in the fight, I also think that he legitimately Flash/Knocked him down (Floyd’s glove touched the canvas).

Zab should have the win over Floyd and it's not really arguable, imo. Floyd got nothing but a pure gift. He should have been dq'd.

I don't remember too much about the Zab fight. I don't recall Judah taking near the amount of flush shots that Shane did though.

According to teh letter of the law, Floyd should have been DQ'd...

    but COME ON!

You would have been satisfied if Floyd was Disqualified in that fight after he was dominating Zab and Judah took a cheap shot to his balls and the back of his head? Roger mayweather entered the ring virtually at the end of the round with 1 or 2 secs to spare.

A DQ would have been unforgivable.

a DQ was the logical decision but it hardly the fault of mayweather jr. anyhow, judah did better, mosley landed a few shots in one round, and that was IT. judah was one of the five best victories of mayweather jr.'s career

I think Judah is the most dangerous southpaw fight that FMJ has ever had.
As for Mitchell and Chop Chop outside of Floyd being buzzed didn’t really compete. I can’t recall any other southpaws, am I forgetting someone?

Judah. He won the first 4 rounds IMO and even knocked PBF down legitimately (though it wasn't scored). He lost every round after but there were a few close rounds in there. Shane had PBF hurt badly but he won 2 rounds at best and the rounds he lost were pretty one sided.

Judah. He wasn't 38, a recovering juicer and coming off an 18 month layoff.

Looks like it's unanimous, as I expected it would be. Judah was the more pressing foe. Mayweather says his most difficult opponent was Burton, but I'm not certain of the date of the interview in which I saw him state that.
