    Not really. Hamsho was brave, but he got his ass completely kicked twice by Hagler. He went some rounds in the first fight, but the fight was completely one-sided in Hagler's favor and Hamsho ended up with 55 stitches for his trouble.

    The second fight was over as soon as Hamsho started butting Hagler and Hamsho was gone in 3 rounds.

    That being said...Hamsho was definitely world class and was a legit top contender in his day. He could beat or hang with anyone in the division except for Hagler.

    This is actually a terrible topic. Pointless in fact.

    almost 300 countries in teh world...only about 20 have had world class boxers. So the thread starter wants us to come up with over 250 names!! :doh:
