Koscheck fakes being hit by a knee second fight in a row

I thought they said his initial reaction was due to a finger hitting him in the eye.

Anyway, I'm sick to death of fighter's talking amazing shit only to have a dude of a fight. Koscheck talked about standing up with that guy but it was clear as day he was afraid to do so. Still you can't knock him, he did what he needed to do to pull out the win. It was safe and boring but he won. He even proceeded to talk shit to the home town fans booing him.

Besides what's worse, faking a hit a couple of times, or being a prick and punching your opponent after the fight is over?

 

Koscheck was making vulgar remarks towards Daley in his ear on the ground during the fight. Daley was upset and wanted vengeance, anyway he could.

 

Doesn't make any difference. Koscheck was talking during a fair fight. Daley's horseshit was cowardly. He didn't have the skill to win the fair fight so he wanted to take out his frustration like a pussy.

What I loved was Daley telling Dan Miragliotta that he didn't hear the bell. What a joke.

 

I just watched the fight and honestly, it really looked like Daley didn't know the fight was over. ::

 

Right.. The only way Daley ever got back to his feet was at the end of the round.

People will forgive Daley for punching after the fight faster than they'll forgive Koscheck for acting...again.
Afterall, Daley at least hit Koscheck when Koscheck was facing him, not from behind.

 

Wrong. Daley was behind Koscheck and only turned as the punch was coming. You're obviously trolling and didn't actually see it.

But back to your point, there is no comparison to sucker punching a guy and faking an injury from a foul.

That's like saying Ali's corner tearing his glove in the corner is worse than Tyson biting Holyfield's ear.

And no one that is a competitor or an athlete will forgive Daley faster than Koscheck.

Koscheck knew the punch was coming and put his right hand up to his face to protect himself. If Daley was that blatant in hurting Koscheck, he could've rabbit punched Koscheck quite easily.

As for Daley, nobody will give a sh*t in a month about the sucker punch. Mainly because the sucker punch couldn't have happened to a nicer guy in Josh Koscheck. A piece of sh*t in his own right who disrespected the crowd who pay his bills and the city itself right along with it.

Koscheck said to Daley "Who's the pussy now?" when both fighters were getting up as the fight had ended. From my understanding, when fighters are amped up and their tempers are flared and basically running high on emotion, you don't talk sh*t to a guy in his ear to make him angrier than he already is unless you're asking for something.
You can sit there on your armchair, comfortably disrespecting fighters for not being nice, cool, calm and collected law-abiding citizens like yourself.
But this is the fight game, not f*cking ping pong.
You talk sh*t to a guy when he's already ultra pissed, you get sh*t in return.

What Koscheck did to Daley with the sh*t talking after the fight AND disrespecting the city doesn't make him any nicer to me than Daley.

Looks like it grazed his eye to me. There was never a replay that showed for sure. The footage was from the wrong side.

 

All I can say is Dana will be able to sell out the biggest stadium in Canada for the GSP-Koscheck rematch. First, Josh is probably the last guy to win a round against GSP. Second, after the comments Josh made post fight about Montreal and GSP, he might be the most hated man in Canada. Third, after they have months of trash talking on the TUF show, the hatred and demand for the fight will reach a boiling point.

They have developed the perfect villain to make even a GSP fight anticipated.

 

Seems like a step backward for GSP. Basically a waste of 6-8 months of calendar space.

 

Yep, having the champion tied up for all that time is ridiculous. That being said, outside a catch weight bout with Silva, Koscheck is the best available opponent for GSP. Well, unless Jake Shields comes aboard.

Please. That maybe the most ridiculous post on here. Koscheck may have been boring in his fight against Daley if you don't like wrestling control. But do yourself a favor, before you spout off, and watch his previous 4 or 5 bouts.

His last fight against Anthony Johnson wasn't boring and he won submission of the night. And two fights before that he won KO of the night when he put Yoshida to sleep on his feet. Mix in the demolition of Frank Trigg and the KO loss to Thiago and Koscheck has been fun as hell to watch.

Koscheck has been anything BUT boring. The guy is one of the more decorated wrestlers in MMA yet he has chosen to box and try crazy shit just to BE entertaining.

Kos is much more exciting than he used to be. If he would have traded with Daley it might have been exciting but it would have been stupid as hell. He chose to impose his stength on Daley instead of playing into Daley's strength. He made a great choice and now he's got his title shot.

i've made it clear that i'm a big fan of folkstyle/freestyle/greco fan in the past, but honestly, in mma, i'm not too big on guys who take guys down and try to ride them out.

for whatever reason, i always have my hopes down whenever koscheck ends up on the undercard. i like competitive wrestling, but i don't find guys like jon fitch or koscheck to be exciting at all.

GSP is similar, but he's much more explosive and does more submission attempts. i don't mind GSP when he fights like he did vs. hughes or even in his last fight where he tried to go for arm bars and kimuras, but then again, his style isn't exactly everyone's cup of tea either.

unless koschek is fighting yoshida, trigg or some guy who he can compete while standing up, he usually goes for take downs and try to remain there as much as he can. i do admit, he wasn't boring to watch when he owned diego sanchez in their rematch. don't get too offended. i'm sure i'm not the only one who doesn't like koschek's style.
