I am a big fan of the seventies heavyweights. Big George is one of my alltime favorites. The father/son story would be great for boxing. If he is as strong and mean as his father he can become a succes. Remember that pre-Ali Foreman wasnt very skillfull. Cut Monk soms slack. The guy just started boxing.

Monk is 6'5 and weighs 250 lbs. He is slightly bigger than his father and doesn't look fat. He might have inheritted his fathers brutal strength aswell. There have been more families that have produced multiple succesfull boxers. The Mayweathers, Spinks and Klitschkos are examples.

Also let me add. I'm not someone that stirs up trouble. It's never been my thing to get into petty nitpick fights on the internet. I've never seen the point in that.

However, there should be a distinction made, between someone starting a fight, or trying to instigate a fight, and someone who's genuinely taken issue with something that was said.

Having said that, I'm not going to push this anymore. I made my thoughts known, and whether anyone else thinks it's hilarious or whatever to joke about the Edwin Valero situation, doesn't matter to me.

I'm moving on, however I WILL make my feelings known if I disagree with someone on here. Hopefully people on here will take that for what it is: Disagreeing with someone, or being offended by something. Not starting fights.

Thing is some guys on here have certain personalities that the rest of us have known for years. It's like family here, so when those guys are defending Whiskey they're just doing it out of the fact that they know him and are used to that type of stuff from him.

I understand where you're coming from being disgusted by what he said, but understand that deep down pretty much everyone here felt the tragedy that happened to the Valero's was unfortunate and terrible and nobody takes what Whiskey said seriously. First of all, just because you had an issue with what Whiskey said doesn't mean it's ok to toss around insults. And when you call someone an "ignorant asshole", then you ARE looking for and/or starting a fight. The last time I checked, it's entirely possible to take issue with something and not sink to name calling and insults.

Second of all, if it "doesn't matter" to you, then give it a rest. No reason for you to continue to go on, and on, and on, and on about it.
