You remember dates because of boxing. I remember my younger brother broke his arm the same night as Holyfield/Toney. I told him the other week that it was in October of 2003.... he couldn't f'n believe I knew.

All kidding aside this is a GREAT one. There have been so many dates and time periods i have remembered due to boxing matches.

Also future dates - for example it was early April and someone was talking about an event that happens on May 14th - people asked... what day is that? I responded "Friday" immediately because i knew it was two weeks after Mayweather-Mosley which is a Saturday minus one day is Friday.

Same here, I know lots of future dates because of scheduled boxing matches. It wasn't like that before, not all the big fights were on Saturdays. Some Tyson fights in the late 80s/early 90s were during the week, or on Fridays rather than Saturdays.
