    Read it for yourself guys...

It's as clear as day Cintron bitched up...the doctor said Cintron TWICE said he couldn't continue. He goes on to say once the fight was called off, Cintron began protesting he COULD continue.

Those who supported Cintron, are you now convinced Kermit bitched up?

    http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/spo...-head-of-state-athletic-commission-rules.html

Ringside Dr. Paul Wallace told The Times on Monday that Cintron twice told doctors he was unable to continue because of back pain, prompting Wallace to instruct referee Lou Moret that the fight should be stopped.

    more from the article:

DiBella said he received a text message from Cintron on Monday after reading Dr. Wallace's comments on latimes.com, and the fighter said he "may have said no," to the question of whether or not he wants to continue fighting, but that he was also "gasping for air" at the time and didn't fully understand the gravity of the situation.

Yep,.. the gameplan was to steal the fight on the cards, taking advantage of Californian rules, .......thank fuck it backfired,.. seriously, thank fuck for that,.. it would have been outrageous if team Cintron successfully pulled this off. Some people around here think it is 'unimagineable' how low and corrupt people ARE, in this filthy, vile, business... boxing has minimal regulation, and it is rightfully viewed as a fucken underground mafia-styled freak show,.. so whats Cintrons gots ta do, in dis land of oppurtunity is, metaphorically, declare bankruptcy, and 'make a play' at another angle, get together with the chronies, and have a brainstorm on a new scheme on how to get ahead on the other 5 families,.. das boxing, das boxing.

Cintron did indeed bitch up but I'm not anymore impressed with Williams. Not only did he fail to seize a great opportunity with an impressive victory but it also looks like they're the ones running away with a stolen victory here by not even considering a rematch. It's for that reason that I wish this fight had been a draw or a UD.

I'm not fan of Paul Williams but i can't blame him for wanting a bigger marquee or money fight than rematching Cintron.

You're right, I have no problem with him going after Floyd or Manny. However I doubt either will fight him, though I think Manny would before Floyd. If neither of those fights get made and Martinez doesn't want no more, then why not do a half-ass camp and legitimately beat Cintron for another pretty good purse?

I was actually thinking of a moat with boiling water around the ring but Cintron might actually consider diving in, so yeah, the cage would be better.

I definitely believe that Cintron bitched out after falling out of the ring

My contention was that to insinuate that he luanched himself out of the ring on purpose in order to create a circumstance of injury where he could steal the fight on the cards is plainly idiotic. that's just my opinion

Cintron would surely "trip" and the "momentum" would make him climb the cage and out. Some frogs were just not meant to be caged.

The cage would have to have a roof.

He would then "trip" and his "momentum" would help him dig and tunnel out

The cage, mat etc. would all have to be thorougly examined by David Copperfield to make sure there was no way to escape.

agreed... but his wish list is longer than the list of realistic lucrative options. He wants Mayweather and Pacquiao just like everyone else. Neither one of them are fighting him.

That basically leaves a Sergio Martinez rematch, which neither he or Goossen seem to be in a hurry to pursue. Williams' insistence of "he calls me out and it's on" would have more teeth... if Martinez wasn't the MW champion.

No need to waste anothber HBO date on Cintron. Williams vs the winner of Foreman-Cotto is probably the best fight at 154 or a rematch with margacheato but he is scared to death to rematch Paul.

I dont think they'll be in a rush to put Cotto in with Williams. If Cotto beats Foreman, I'm smellin Cotto-Angulo.

Exactly. Cintron can fight on Puerto Rican public access TV for all i care.

Fighting on HBO is absolutely huge for up and coming fighters. Kerbitch Bitchtron absolutely does not deserve to be there.

I certainly will agree that I never want to see Cintron fight again

Unless it's against Santos, who will brutally KO the Kermit

Santos looked shot to shit vs Foreman. I'd agree that a prime Santos stops Cintron.

Exactly. While I am open to the possibility that after falling out of the ring and getting the wind knocked out of him (or whatever actually happened to him), Cintron tried to gamble and say he couldn't continue, I stand by everything I said about how stupid it is to contend he launched himself from the ring on purpose. This is what I posted:

I will repeat again that I'd bet the farm that Cintron knew nothing whatsoever about the California rules for these incidents, which (if true) makes his decision even more STUPID if he said he could not continue, since he had no way of knowing whether or not he would win, lose, or draw. If he had "coaxing" from someone who did know, then it makes the decision less stupid, but fully cowardly.

In all fairness, you know that the ringside doctors, now faced with looking stupid for allegedly telling Cintron to stay immobile, will say whatever they need to to "re-frame" the incident. Cintron will then say whatever he needs to to try not to look pathetic.

So I stand by my assertion that believing in "manual ejection" (TM) is sheer stupidity, but I now readily admit that Cintron is shaping up to look like an embarrassing bitch for quitting. If that is really what happened, in a fight where he was arguably winning, and where he had no legitimate injury... I will never watch the guy fight again. Wish I had good audio tape to hear what was actually said.

I like "Bitchtron" but you can change just one letter and make "Cuntron".

I think Cintron exaggerated his stumbling then found himself launched out of the ring. I believe he thought the ropes would catch him.

Do I believe he faked with the intent to win the fight based on California's rules? No. Kermit isn't the brightest guy...he couldn't devise that strategy if you gave him a week alone.

Do I believe he wanted out of the fight? Yes.

Do I believe he could have continued? Yes.

Actually I heard Margarito had been wanting a Paul rematch. Not so sure how much he does without his magic wraps though.

Anyway seeing as how Cintron won't be getting a Williams rematch he's now calling out Berto. That's a fight I've wanted to see for a while now and I still do. It's high time Berto fought somebody worth a damn, and Cintron would be a good test for him. Not only would he have to deal with size but power as well. Me thinks Berto wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

He wasn't the only one to benefit from such a result. All his actions, and the timing of his actions, are perfectly accounted for with this explanation.
