Pace slowing a little now from both men. Paulie is throwing very little- he looks a little discouraged and Khan is scoring well with the left hand. Lovely combinations by Khan to finish the round.

Well no one can say Paulie doesn't have a chin after tonight. He's taking some hard shots to the head and he doesn't appear to even be close to going down.

Khan starting to tee off now with nice 1-2's. Khan is NOTICABLE faster than Paulie to the punch. Double jabs starting to find a mark from Khan. The jab is landing regularly and with authority.

Paulie needs a KO to win.

Big right hand from Khan finds it's mark early doors. Paulie's chin is sturdy but he is taking a LOT of left hands now. Smoger having a VERY good look at Paulie now. Amir's jab is consistent and hurtful- really taking Paulie apart with that punch. Decent flurry at the end of the round by Paulie but he's close to being stopped.

Khan doesn't turn over his left hand.

 

More of the same in the tenth as Khan laces Paulie with that jab. It isn't spectacular but it is damn effective. Nice left-right combo at 1.20 with Paulie backing away. Paulie doing very little now- he has been systematically beaten down so far. Khan opens up again at the close of the round and Smoger has ANOTHER look at Paulie...

Mercy stoppage. Now onto the big time. I think Khan's jab and height could present real problems for Bradley. Dunno how well he takes Maidana's power. I think Alexander beats him.

 

Good decision by Smoger, who was excellent again. Paulie stopped being competitive by about round four and was starting to ship a lot of shots with nothing in return.

Good performance by Khan. The jab was a piston all night and laid the foundations for a sound victory.
