Kotelnik has never been down amateur or pro and Maidana had him hurt on two seperate ocasssions. Maidana´s boxing skills might be overrated, but his power certainly is not.

Well 25 of 26 KO´s, and he came pretty close to stopping a real tough guy in his only loss. He has natural power. He can certainly be outboxed, but you have to be very good or/and tough. Him and Katsidis would be epic.

Aside from the indigineous,.. Australia is a young country built by a wave of immigrants,..and it has an identity crisis,.. However, I'd prefer Katsidis wore Greek attire to the ring,.. rather than declare himself more native to Australia than Aboriginal people because he's a pale pasty motherfucker who loves his footy, hates wogs,..and waves a flag which looks exactly like the British one. So in light of that memory,.. I dont have a problem what so ever with Katsidis illustrating his Greek heritage instead of ....whatever the fuck a 'real aussie' is supposed to be. :crafty:

As much of a beast as Katsidis is for sure in terms of punching power.

 

By the look of him, he'd have been safe that day,.. it all depended on 'the contrast' of appearance, any first generation Brits would have been safe and sound,. Nords would have been alright,..ironically, even some Lebanese with pale skin and coloured hair would have been ok ::,... but any European with black hair and olive skin,.. "Get that fucken lebanese Muslim!"... and there you have it,.. brilliant "100% Aussies and proud" ... :crafty:

 

I hold my hands up - I got it completely wrong.
I thought Mitchell would outbox Katsidis and fight a clever fight which would go the distance, but fair play to Katsidis - he wanted it more and was immense.
It was Man vs Boy as many predicted and you can't take away the win for Katsidis and i'm certinly not going to bet against him from now on.

Mitchell is good but not as good as I thought he could be which is dissapointing.

 

DeGale has ridiculously good raw potential to work with. He will be a real force if his talent can be harnessed properly. I'm not really sold on Saunders though.
