Thanks! And too bad about Arlovski. He fought scared. He just doesn't have that confidence and killer instinct anymore. He should stick to making movies. It seemed like he was throwing his punches from too far away and coming up short. As if he was scared to get in range and countered. Oh well I guess if we wanna see Arlovski kick ass again we'll just have to rent the newest straight to dvd universal soldier !

Good performance by Overeem but I don't think he is smart enough to defeat Fedor.

But, JOM may have a point in that Overeem might be the right guy to catch Fedor as he crests down the backside of his career.

 

I'm basing his improved gas tank on the form he's shown in K1. He hasn't gassed in any of these fights

 

K1 isn't MMA

 

he has a couple decent fight: buentello, fujita (on the downside of his career, but still a decent fighter), Hunt and Rogers. Also, we can't just erase the succes he has in K1. He has kod Badr Hari, wich is a huge accomplishment

Still, I consider succes in thoses parralel sport (abu dhabi , K1, Olympic wrestling) as a good barometer for succes in MMA

Battle of the shot fighters. However, Arlovski loos a little more timid than Crocop and Crocop has a better chin. Crocop takes it IMO.

No, his losses were due to getting beaten by the better fighter that night. Chuck stopped him, so did Little Nog, Shogun 2X, Arona, and Kharitonov (who is just not that great). Hell, Bobby Hoffman stopped him way back.
