No way Khan walks all over a prime Hatton - you guys really think Khan hits that hard ? I dont believe it
Khan aint no puncher. Hell even Floyd hits harder. And no, blowing out that bum Salita in 1 round doesnt prove his power.
I don't think Khan is a one punch KO artist, not in the slightest, but he's not feather-fisted either. He's a sharp puncher.
His Ko's to date to prove nothing. Khan is fast, very fast and the kid will get a lot of TKO's but a prime Hatton could take hammer blows to the head and kept moving forward, while I am beginning to see Khans potential I fear for the guy against an elite fighter.
Khan hits harder than Floyd. Khan's has the type of power that can actually be improved with technique, I think. Usually that's not the case, but Khan really doesn't sit down on his punches; he just throws them fast and accurately and let's the speed do the damage.
This is based on speculation. I'm talking right now, Khan doesnt hit as hard as Floyd. When Floyd commits to his lead hook it has more pop then anything Khan throws. I know Hatton has a shitty chin now, but prior to the Mayweather fight it was solid, and he'd be able to get inside and make things very difficult for Khan, who cant fight for shit on the inside.
I can't believe people are rating Alexander over Bradley based on a dominating performance against Urango. Urango is made for a counter puncher and Alexander looked awesome dominating him, but Bradley looked awesome dominating a better fighter in Peterson. People think Bradley is becoming overrated but I disagree. It's not just Bradley's skills that make him so good, but his confidence and preparation. I think he's the goods and is the best in the division. Also getting dropped by Holt merely showed he's got the heart to come back from adverstity. There is no shame in getting hurt in a fight, it happens to everyone, the real test is how you respond.
I vote for Alexander as well. He's the best pure boxer and has the best skills. I'm not sold on his chin though.
I think Alexander is the BEST of the three, actually. Definitely the best boxer of the bunch, you're right. But I voted Bradley since he's the most proven, so I regard him as the man there right now.
Alexander looked ok against Urango, but wasnt too impressed by his performance against Witter, I thought Bradley looked more composed against a better Junior...slight edge to Bradley, followed by Alexander and Khan, followed by Maidana
That all he can do is throw one twos? That the only two modes of defense he's capable of are putting the earmuffs up or leaping back out of range? That he couldn't create a useful angle with professional architecture software? :dunno:
who's hating on Khan? do you mean, "Why aren't we kissing Khan's ass and pretending for the time being he's the best?"
I don't pay enough attention to C+ grade fighters to have a clue which of these guys is ducking the other or why.
well, then take it from me: Khan ducked Maidana, suggesting his camp is not as confident as you are about his chances against him.
What do you guys think of the suggestion of a four man tournament bankrolled by HBO featuring - Khan, Maidana, Alexander and Bradley? This tournament would surely finally put an end to which of these fighters is the best at 140?
khan would be a damn fool to agree to that. he's more popular than the three of those fellows combined
Sounds like a stupendous idea to me. Ideally make it a 4 man league and have 3 double header bills (dream on Hut).
