I was watching Primetime featuring these two and the hatred between them is strong. I know the trash talking and hype is great for selling a fight, but the body language with these guys just screams "I wanna rip your head off." I seriously doubt this is the kind of rivalry that gets squashed in the ring. Much like Mir-Lesnar, I think the fight will only amp up the dislike. This is going to be a fun card. Can anyone envision these two shaking hands and respecting each other afterwards? Also, can you list some other MMA matchups with this kind of hate? Obviously I already mentioned Mir-Lesnar.

I have been told the same. REED brings up some great points. Some of the brothers I hang out with talk crazy shit to each other, in the gym sparring, when we play basketball at the park, shit when we play poker. Some of the things they say to each other are down right ruthless. But when the game, match, whatever is over....its all good. Smiles and beers around. I see the same thing here.

I think its a little more than what Reed said, but yes they will be friends after, unless some controversial decision. I think when this first started, Rampage was playing with Rashad, Joking with him, but Rashad took it to the next level when he came face to face with Page. Rashad was drunk and talking shit. Since then Page had issues with him. But Rashad made this personal.
To bring up a few more for you Trplsec. Ortiz and Shamrock was pretty real in my opinion. It all got squashed later, but man it was pretty intense up to the fight. Same goes for Frye and Shamrock in Pride. I know Chris Leben pretty well, he told me the feud between him and Koschek was 100% real. He hates the guy. They have fought like 3 times outside the ring since the TUF show. He told me Dana actually got invved and told them to knock their crap off. Chris cracks me up, he still says if he sees Josh at a fight he will call him a faggot lay'n'pray boy. Of course, Chris told me he beat the shit out of Josh the 3 fights outside the ring.::

Well, my read could be wrong. I've been around a ton of brother-on-brother shit talking sessions, and I know exactly what you're talking about. But for some reason, this just seems different. I honestly think Rashad got legitimately under Rampage's skin. It will be interesting to see how these two react after the fight.
The Shamrock feuds immediately came to mind for me as well. Shamrock and Ortiz made TUF entertaining despite most people knowing Ken didn't have a shot in hell. Interesting to hear those details about Leben and Koscheck. Leben always struck me as a bad ass outside the cage.

Rampage has shown poor movement as opposed to Rashad's excellent movement. Rashad is also faster with a wrestling background. I think Rampage is past it at this point and Rashad takes him...but a stoppage seems rather unlikely unless Rashad takes him down.
the feud was obviously bullshit, maybe it got a little real when Rampage retired, but even then, I think it's pretty obvious it's just for the camera.
Leben is a riot, the guy parties like a rockstar and trains like a madman. He's actually a good coach too. He is a great teacher of the basics. He truly loves fighting, training, coaching. I think if he didn't have his gym, he would be a drug addict alcoholic.::
I watched the video of Rampage teasing Evans about an herpes sores and to me, it seems they actually like each others.

Rashad's Chin is THE Most VULNERABLE, Most EXPLOITABLE Part of his Body...Machida HURT Rashad just about EVERY Time he Punched him...REED Thinks Rampage Hits HARDER & w/More TECHNIQUE than Machida Does... Rashad's cockyness will get him knocked out. I'm almost sure of it. He'll try to trade and get caught. Rampage hits harder than Machida IMO.
And in the 3rd round of his last fight versus Thiago Silva he got knocked a little silly as well/ But this is how he ends up again versus Rampage
Rashad is scared as hell of getting hit. This guy claims that he will pull a Mayorga and let Rampage hit him, but there is no way he tries that.
