you look at it as a "small slow chinny fellow" I look at as a rock hard guy.. who fought a LOT and came up hard.. not protected and developed skill that would take these big German giants OUT
The Klitschko's would not struggle with Galento in the slightest. If people are going to downgrade Arreola as an opponent for Vitali due to his beer guzzling, then no way in hell can Galento be used as an advertisement for Louis' offensive prowess. What's more, at least Vitali didn't struggle with his drunken bum. I'm sorry but that is double-standards at its most ridiculous level.
Galento was fat, and his training routine was desultory to say the least. His skills were not particularly honed. He had Louis buzzed in round 1, was floored in round 2, then dropped Louis in round 3 and was taken out himself in round 4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7FjbaaIwvI Look at this shit. Boxrec claims Galento weighed around 235lbs. He looks around 5'10", tops. I mean, his mobility and speed must have been down to nothing.
I said Galento was at least as tough as Klitschko. I never said he was anywhere near as good. Louis didn't struggle with him. It was an easy victory. I don't think there's a single point we really agree on regarding any of the three fighters, Irish, so we should just leave it at that. I don't think the Klitschkos are in Louis' class, but that's just my take. Obviously, you disagree. I don't think we'll find much common ground --- the differences are just too great. That's Boxing.
Joe Louis has become highly overrated with time. Lennox woulda bombed his little outdated ass outta there. Look at all those f*cking old stiffs Louis is fighting. They're like robots, just trotting face first slowly. No skills or anything. Tyson woulda smashed out Louis too.
come on Hanzy.. we could get a crappy quality clip of Zeljin Macrovision kicking the shit out of LEmmon too
No....you would get a quality clip of a guy as tall as Lewis but a good bit lighter winning one or two rounds.
Agree with the scorecard,.. he had nuthin,... but there was a lack of shiver in his timbres, couldn't help but be impressed with that skin-head's extreme durability,.. he kept indulging to take the most devistating uppercut in heavyweight history, round after round. He'd make a Chechnyan recruit, he'd sure do..
