http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/chagaev-defeats-meehan-46714 Fightbeat are saying it was Ruslan Chagaevs best performance in years, Meehan used to be half-good, but not any more. That said the injuries inactivity and 10 round beating from Wlad didn't do Chagaev any favours. Eitherways, Chagaev now says he is ready to face Haye.."immediately".
A decision over Kali Meehan?.. The fact that it was a decision is all I need to know. Meehan...........fucking...........SUCKSSSSSSS
It was a fuckin pathetic performance against a 40 year old mediocre (to be nice) heavyweight, who hadn´t fought in two years and was blowing heavy after six rounds. Chagaev sucked. He should be banned from TVs just for daring to mention a Wlad rematch. Haye will knock him out. Fightnews probably gets their reports form the German commentator, who today declared Chagaev is a superior boxer to Mike Tyson.:laughing:
Chagaev was coming off a lay off and a beating. Please Whats the established line of BS when a guy goes the distance?..."Oh, I was happy to go the 12, I needed the rounds"
If you want the BS you have to read the Universum press releases on Fightnews. I´m just teling it like I saw it. Chagaev is done as a top level boxer.
According to strong rumors, Meehan knocked out Haye in sparring a year ago when Haye was preparing to face Wlad. Chagaev is among the more boring of the modern boring heavyweights but he could well beat Haye. Chagaev hardly ever attacks and Haye is a one-trick pony counter puncher
Chagaev is good enough to beat Haye. I'd give him and Sultan Ibragimov can beat Haye. Haye feeds on slow opponents.
Biddy baby Ed can whip,..he's got a brisk swish, he's not routed with icey slow twitch custard,.. but damn Irishman,.. Meehan?.. ..I think that's about it for Chagaev,.. if you're any good you complete level 1. As a result of this news, dont be suprised if he has his licence revoked, he blew it.
Chagaev is incredibly strong, in terms of brute physical strength.....He would certainly shake off Hayes rights and make it interesting into the middle rounds. Thats what I want to see, and if Haye can pass the test, he will get respect from me. I dont know if Haye can though...If Chagaev gets close, and lets face it he can, then Haye will lose energy in the clinches and get badly roughed up by a guy with a significant advantage in terms of strength and resistance.
Yer know,.. that's what I thought too,.. when Ruiz signed to face him I thought.. :crafty: ooo hooo hooo,.. you beauty,.. immense strength gunna manhandle Ruiz on the inside,..... it didn't happen though,..Ruiz was the bull who put the horn through the throat,.. but Chagaev survived.
Pedamek shouldn't be at heavyweight,.. but like most 'cyclists' ...that's where he's ended up, due to his 'ambitions'... now although I'm hispanic, I dont mean to be racist but, Pedamek now resembles Golota, I mean really looks like him, not a racist generalisation but,.. by his shape, and tone, he really turned into him from a visual perspective, one of the most bizarre natural transitions in recent years.
Chagaev will be easier to hit than Adamek and that's saying something. Haye still managed to go with an even easier route and take on Fraudley. I may actually root for Fraudley in that one.
exactly, Ruiz was surprinsingly strong for an hw, but still, in his fight with Golota, it was obvious he wasn't the stronger man. chagaev ain't that strong imo.
How do you mean Chagaev is easy to hit? Usually he fights like a heavyweight Abraham behind a very high guard. Have you seen his fights?
Pedamek should be rewarded for his bravery and for his reckless behaviour. Its what America was built on. AMERICA! AMERICA! May God Thy Gold Refine!!!
Thats missing the point. Chagaev is built on Olympic Amateur standards- the guy is a boxer. What I am alluding to is his ability to take punishment and get around to dishing out some of his own. His problem is that his mind is geared towards proper fundamentals, and his body is geared to a more "American" style.
