Marquez against Barrera Barrera against Pacquiao Morales against Barrera Ali against Wepner Hagler against Roldan Mayweather against Judah Toney against Jones
Marquez went down hard from clean right Barrera went down Morales slipped Ali slipped Hagler slipped Mayweather touched the canvas after taking a punch Toney went down
1. Barrera LEGITIMATELY Dropped Marquez... 2. Pacquiao LEGITIMATELY Dropped Barrera, but the Earlier Knockdown (Scored AGAINST Pac) was Bogus... 3. Morales WAS NOT Legitimately Dropped by Barrera... 4. Wepner Hit Ali in the CHEST...Though Not Impressive, it's a LEGIT Knockdown... 5. Hagler WAS NOT Legitimately Dropped by Roldan... 6. Floyd Put his Glove Down to MAINTAIN Balance...LEGIT Knockdown... 7. After Hitting Toney, Roy Jones' BODY Knocked Toney Off Balance, Stumbling Backwards into the Ropes...This Particular Instance STRADDLES the Line Perfectly, but REED Leans More Towards it NOT Being Legit... REED:kidcool:
I agree with most Double L's answers in that all were legit KD's except for Barrera-Morales and Hagler-Roldan. Ali-Wepner was legitimate... kinda like Holyfield-Tyson I will say, however, that I was ringside for Barrera-Morales and in that moment I would have ruled that a KD as well, at the time it looked like Morales was weak to me and went down as a result of accumulation and fatigue from getting punched. How about this one for people who have seen he fight: Oscar Bonavena vs. George Chuvalo. Chuvalo goes down twice and both times are ruled slips, and while they aren't the cleanest KD's you will ever see, I believe both should have been ruled as legitimate KDs. Agree/Disagree? Thoughts?
That's a good one. It was weird and I don't think Lewis was in any trouble, but I guess you could call it a knockdown. I remember Mills Lane saying he should have called it a KD (he thought it was legit upon review) because it would possibly have given Akinwande some confidence to come out of his shell and stop holding.
