If you were a ref

    Which fights would you step sooner or later then they actually were. I'm not talking about having watched the thing after the fact 100 times over a span of 10 years and then coming to a conclusion. I mean if you were the ref and you have to make a call in the heat of the moment.

    For example I would have probably stopped Grant Lewis after that round ending knockdown. The ref let it go on. Nothing changed Grant still got his ass kicked but he gave him the benefit of the doubt.

    p.s Are people related to refs or even judges allowed to be boxers and fight having that ref referee it that judge judge it ?

    Tarver/Jones 2 after the 1st round. Roy was clearly better.

    Grants fight immediately prior he was decked hard in the first round and came back to survive and eventually stop Andrew Golota in the late portion of the fight.

    A fighter's history absolutely needs to be considered when a ref does or doesn't stop a fight.

    It was the correct call to allow Grant to fight on

    I also would have stopped the rubber match late in the 11th round when Tarver got tired.
