Well for what it's worth, my exact view point is this: if Floyd wins its a GREAT win. It's exactly like Hagler beating Hearns, Sanchez beating Gomez, Marciano beating Charles, etc. Great win, the best of his career.

If Pac wins its even GREATER. It's Duran beating Leonard, Charles beating Louis, Armstrong beating Ross, etc.

Thats the only meaning I attribute to the size difference. It's an advantage. But from Floyd's perspective since Pac has proven himself to be a very good welterweight already it's still a win over a very good welterweight, FULL STOP.

Anyone who says later that Pacs a blown up featherweight etc is talking in red herrings since regardless of that he's also a very good proven welterweight.

So I think it's possible to acknowledge the size difference as part of the context of the fight without an agenda.

 

Yeah this is around about what I mean,... newton's theory would also indicate that Pacquiao's lightning speed of foot and hand would be compromised if 20lbs of apples fell on his head and shoulders, but this smaller man defies gravity by actually gaining speed and stamina aswell,... now how does this work without immense core strength to swish around all this extra weight like as if it were nothing, as if it were less of a burden to his mobility being lighter?.. and how does his small, light frame possess the jarring follow through of a punch on impact that switches an overall larger and heavier fighters lights completely out, or knocks them down with the 4th punch of a flurry where the first 3 miss?... There's got to be something extremely solid and uncompromising behind Pacquiao's single punches,... so,.. I can't accept that based on the evidence of his previous few outings that Pacquiao is physically 'weaker',.. some of us made that mistake of picking against him in these past few fights because of this very reason,..Pacquiao looks like the smaller fighter,.. but then again an orangutan could be half the size of a sumo wrestler too as you know,..but Manny is human, and I can't disagree with proven physics theories, they're not wrong,..so what's Pacquiao's secret to supernatural strength?...

The fact he punches very hard doesn't mean he isn't smaller. Doesn't necessarily mean he's weaker either. But that's beside the point....if HE WERE bigger he'd be even stronger. And if all the welterweights were the same size as Pac they'd be weaker than they are now.

This is leaving aside insinuations about drug cheating which I understand full well is the underlying point behind this and every single post you make on Pac. You know we're on the same page on that but that's another discussion.

I didn't make that thread to denigrate a possible victory by PBF. If you read my responses to you, that should be clear.
I agree that the fact that PBF is bigger & stronger should not take away from a victory over Pac.

I made that thread as a response to KaukipRrr, who wouldn't admit that PBF is bigger & stronger because he has an agenda.
That agenda is that whatever he says about Manny MUST re-inforce his opinion that he is on drugs. He won't admit that PBF is bigger & stronger than Manny because he thinks that it will weaken his case. (Manny must be stronger because he's strength is UNNATURAL).

He also said that Manny's power is Hearns-like off the scale & eqivalent to a light-heavyweight.
-Why?-Because he thinks to say otherwise will weaken his case. That's what I meant in that thread when I mentioned "Agenda" & "Objectivity" & what I meant in this thread when I talked about distorting observations to fit an opinion.
