The majority of UFC fighters are white. However, the majority of the stars of the UFC are not. But man, did we get off base in this thread. I'd like to go back to Reed's commenting on how the UFC could have promoted more directly to black audiences. I say hell yeah. Ok...REED just Did that...Took Awhile, but What he Found Out was that of the 209 Fighters on the POSTED UFC ROSTER, 111 were WHITE... Bear in Mind, There was about 15-20 Fighters that DIDN'T Have Pics Posted & There was ANOTHER 15-20 that REED was Unsure Of, N Terms of Being WHITE or Not... You are pointing out 1-2 inconsistencies in REEDs lists. This is not enough to prove him wrong. The fact is, most of the fighters on these lists DO represent the face of the UFC and are active participants.

Most commonly or frequently by a large margin You didnt say there were more white people on the roster, you said that the UFC is mostly white. It doesnt matter if there are other mixed races. I'm not sure what the point of this argument even is? And I think a better way for Reed to try and make his point then using the roster on the website, which includes many retired fighters and fighters who haven't fought in ages, would be to make a list of everyone who's actually fought for the UFC in the past 12 months, and then see what the breakdown is. And if you want to go even further, widdle it down to who's fought on televised fights. The kind of fan who would let race determine thier interest in the sport isn't the kind of fan who would even know the curtain jerker fighting in the non televised first fight of the night. TFK
