Buddy, I understand you wanting to keep the flame wars out of the Boxing forum, and I respect that, but the fact is Henry was arrested and tased by police for being high on PCP, waving a gun around and not complying with police. There is no reason that shouldn't be discussed here.

All of those charges were dropped, TFK, for lack of evidence.

There was no gun found, it was hearsay.

That has nothing to do with boxing, the DA's office declined to prosecute.

If you want to critique Chris on his fights so be it.

But other stuff, this is not the place for that.

Chris also passed the drug screen for his fight with Shaun George and Hugo Garay, so that nixes your PCP angle, as they were unsubstantiated allegations, that were proven thus.

 

Our General Discussion forum has some great boxing minds, but they are less likely to participate in threads that turn into flame wars. GD should be as no-nonsense as the MMA forum. Besides, do you think that constantly bringing up a fighter's outside-the-ring issues is a positive? That's only going to drive other boxers away because they won't want to go anywhere where they expect to receive cheapshots.

Now Karl does respond to some of the comments in a less-than-stellar way, but he gets attacked more than he attacks others. Usually he's just trying to post boxing in GD. Let's try to stay on topic in this area.

Midget wrestling isn't something you'd let Hanzy joke about in the MMA forum.:dunno:

I'll leave things with this post, but Henry's arrest should be a perfectly acceptable thing to discuss in the boxing forum. Nobody ever had a problem with discussions about other fighter's out of the ring activities. Gerald Mcclellen and his history of animal abuse are a perfect example.

Yes, you are right, but it's hard not to have a good laugh at all of this. Karl just responds in the most uncool of fashion. Sometimes you just have to laugh it up, and people will laugh with you. If you act hard, people laugh at you. This whole " See you in 3 days and I will crack your spleen" routine is just asking for belittlement.

 

As I said earlier,.. the inevitability of 'itchyness' is pretty realistic,..keep in mind the back-up inn we gnattered about a few weeks back, I still got the url saved.

I feel bad for Chris Henry, that THIS guy is representing him on here.

 

I'd like to think the guy isn't a big enough douche not to be embarrassed by man child stinger talking all this jazz; not least by the repeated challenges to fights being made on his behalf. Reminds me of a primary school kid telling people Daddy's gonna kick their ass.

Henry's a professional sportsman who makes a living because people wanna watch him compete in his sport. Imagine how pathetic it would be if a pro golfer's hanger-on deputy assistant caddy challenged everyone who said his boss wasn't a very good golfer to play 9 holes with him or shut up? Stinger's a fucking embarrassment.
