Number one UFC welterweight contender Josh Koscheck recently found out where he stood with President Dana White when White slammed Koscheck for not being a team player but not the AKA is wondering why White feels that way:

"Dana White doesn't like me, apparently. That's what he says. I'm not a team player. I don't understand how he can say that. To go on record and say that, I think that's a bunch of (expletive). I'm the type of fighter that steps up and fights anybody, anytime, anyplace. I've taken short-notice fights for him. I always do whatever I'm asked. I'm going to prove I'm a team player by winning the show and the welterweight title. [Dennis Rodman] was one of the best rebounders in the NBA, but he didn't really get noticed until he started acting like a crazy man. At the end of the day, I've got to do things for myself and my business to make money so I don't have to work. It's not like we're getting paid $50 million or $60 million a fight like (Floyd) Mayweather."

I actually find Koscheck refreshing in a sport where so many just try to kiss up. Yeah, he may be a bit off, but he has worked damn hard on his game. His postfight interview against Sanchez was pretty funny as was the way he acted while waiting for the decision.

Yeah but still, he faked getting kneed in the face against Daley and that tells us enough about Koscheck as a professional. Even if he is a cool guy or whatever.

He looks for anyway to win. He showed a lot of heart for taking the beating he took against Thiago Alves. That would be a good rematch...or Alves against Sanchez or Penn.

Yep, I actually rewatched that bout again yesterday. Koscheck was getting kicked so hard in his lead leg that it was spinning him around. He never stopped throwing hands or trying to connect to the head or body.

He may be a headcase, but he has serious balls.

From the good old days when he used to wind up Chris Leben - I've always been a Koscheck fan.

Isn't Koschek kinda young to be going with the Rodman reference?

Kosheck has to be very near of his mid 30's if I'm not mistaken.
