Typical REED Kessler hate. The ONLY one who came across as a sore loser is that whiney 13 year girl Froch.
How do U Figure???:dunno:... Kessler Basically Blamed the Judges, the Refs, AMERICA AND his Trainer...Froch was ALSO a Sore Loser, but Kessler MOST DEFINITELY Was 1 Himself... That's Not "Hate", that's a FACT!... REED:hammert:
It was funny before the fight Froch was explaining how home field advantage didn't come into play then after the fight he wants to drop out of the tournament if he can't fight at home. He also blamed the volcano ::
Donnie McCrary isn't a good puncher and he had Green ready to go. Green was buzzed a couple times against a fat and out of shape Simms. Andre's techinically sound, he could catch Green with something he doesn't see. Green makes a tons of mistakes.
McCrary SPARRED Quite a Few Rounds w/Green Though...He KNEW Green's Tendencies in Terms of WHERE he Likes to Place his Arms & Gloves for Defensive Purposes... REED Can Admit that Green Showed Simms Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay tooooooooo MUCH Respect, but REED Never Got the Feeling he was "Buzzed"...Green Fights to the Level of His Opposition & he's a MURDEROUS FINISHER... Sure, Ward is Technically Sound but he's NOT All that Hard to Hit...If Green Hits Ward, he'll HURT Him...If Green Hurts Ward, he'll FINISH Him... REED:kidcool:
Ward is also a smart fighter. If he touches Green enough he could force Green into a shell...especially if he's getting hit and not knowing how to defense it. That's kinda what happened in the Miranda fight. Ward doesn't have a chin...that I agree with. I'm saying I don't believe Green has one either. We've seen him look like crap against guys he should have and let's look at the quality (or lack thereof) in the guys Green has hammered. with the way Green lifts his chin when he punches as much of a puncher as I believe Ward not to be (he slaps too much) I can easily see Ward tapping him just right and getting him out of there. Simms touched Green fairly often and CLEAN. If simms could punch, I think Green goes out.
I hope Reed is right in a way, because I don't want one guy to run away with the tournament, but I just can't see it
Simms is a SOUTHPAW Though, if REED's Not Mistaken...Whenever Ward Fights from that Stance, it's Merely for SHOW...Plus, that was a Short Notice Fight (Bika Pulled Out Last Minute).... REED is Banking on Green's SUPERIOR Power to that of Ward's AND the Presumption that he has a BETTER Chin... 1nce Upon a Time, REED & Muzse disagREED when the More "Technically Sound" Marco Antonio Barrera Signed to Face a Guy Named PACQUIAO...When a Guy Can HURT U, All the "Technical" Shit Goes OUT the Window... Ward Can STINK his Way to a UD, but if he Gets BOLD & Looks to Make a STATEMENT (Which he Typically Does in Oakland), he's Playing Right Into Green's Hands...Green's POWERFUL Hands... REED:hammert:
Green ain't no Pacquiao. :bangh: I hear what you're saying but Green's "power" didn't phase Simms in the least. Everytime Green has had a bad showing there's always some excuse.
No Doubt... Green is NOWHERE CLOSE to Pacquiao's Caliber & REED has Made it CLEAR that he's ONLY Picking Green in THIS Fight, Not Necessarily to WIN the Super 6... & U're RIGHT, this is Green's "SHIT or Get OFF The Toilet" Moment...He's Live to this Point on Being "Talented", Being "Avoided" & Having "Potential"...No More of that, Win, Lose or Draw... REED:mj:
Its hate because out of the entire episode, thats the first thing you commented about. I'm not doubting Kessler made excuses about the Ward loss, but I dont think Kess is by nature a sore loser. Afterall, he offered ZERO excuses when he lost to Calz. There arent too many fighters out there that DONT make excuses for thier losses. I mean lord knows our boy Roy has had some his damn self. I dont see why you dislike Kessler. He's no longer overrated, and he's an exciting fighter w/a likeable personality. And Froch is MORE then just a sore loser. He's a whiney lil prima donna. I cant wait for AA to starch him.
As for Ward-Green..... I actually will probably end up rooting for Green. For some reason I cant stand Ward. I still think Ward will outclass him though.
Fight Camp is easily better. 24/7 has turned too much into a reality show. They minus well put it on MTV. As for the Super Six, its still too early to say. But I'm going with Dirrell.
I really liked how he basically told the Showtime guy to shut the hell up rather than join in with the popular, but incorrect, sentiment about everything being wrong in the sport. Not always a big Shaw fan, but he is right on that point.
The last installment was fucking terrible. It was so fake and such a desperate attempt to make a fight out of a non-fight.
Steve Kim said it best...he said he's been around when the 24/7 camps filmed and there were times when they'd cut and have the fighter do something again...simple shit like walking into the gym. :: 24/7 is a joke...I dare you to find a single episode where someone isn't walking in slow motion during a voiceover.
24/7 is visually more impressive. Having to re-do certain things is common when filming documentary style. Having to re-enter certainly doesn't take anything away from the fact that the training is real. But fight camp is so much better because it's not all about the fighters. I always said that the story of the promoters negotiating the fight was just as or even more compelling than of the training. Promoters are the real personalities. I even went so far as to schedule an all access no budget documentary chronicling televised title fight negotiation. That got scrapped when the fight did. Plus, in fight camp, everything isn't overly dramatized like it is on 24/7. And it's good to see Greg Leon get some airtime. He really does work hard for his fighters. fight camp is to 24/7 as the ultimate fighter is to the contender.
