Do we have a repeat of the Morrison fight, or does Cooney do the impossible and stop a prime Mercer, or does Mercer get lazy in there allowing Cooney to outwork him for a decision victory?
Agreed. Cooney would bang the hell out of Mercer early but Mercer's jab, toughness and pressure would eventually grind him down. Cooney didn't have Morrison's quick hands and had slower feet so he'd be there for Mercer's return fire and I think that would be enough to give Mercer the nod. It would be a tough fight for Mercer but I think he takes it down the stretch.
