Favorite Boxing Movie Character

I don't think we've ever asked this one on the forum before. It can be any character in the movie as long as the movie is a boxing movie. I'd lean towards Oliver Platt's character in the movie Diggstown. He's a total prick and quite likeable.

So Fightbeat, who's your favorite character in a boxing movie?

Roy Palmer will defeat anyone in the history of boxing movie characters.

 

Rocky is the most likable. Clubber Lang is my favorite villain in a boxing flick.

Off the top of my head i'll also go with "Clubber Lang"

They need to make a movie about Buddy Rydell's real life encounter with Chi Town Slugger. It'd be a comedy where 2 guys are having fits of rage during a debate on a boxing message board with 1 guy(Chi Town) pretending to be some kind of killing machine who gets so annoyed he challenges the other guy to a real fight in his gymnasium. So they agree to fight and they meet up in the gym and the underdog goes and beats the f*ck out of the big mouth Chi Town and humiliates him in front of his students.
That'd be a wicked flick! :kidcool: And Buddy would be my favourite boxing movie character for smashing the retarded evil Chi-Town!
:bears: Now we need to figure out who plays the role of Buddy.
