Just curious TLC, what all do you like about King Mo? I kind of dig wrestling, but he really doesn't have anything beyond wrestling. I have for the most part found him rather boring.
He's got good power and looks to finish, he's also got good, improving boxing. He destroyed Whitehead and Wiuff with his punching power. I hope he fights Sobral next, but Sobral knows he won't leave that fight conscious so he's ducking him. He's going to KTFO Calvacante next.
He sure didn't look to finish vs. Mousasi. And who doesn't finish bums like Wiuff and Whitehead? Both Babalu and King Mo have stated that the wont fight because they are friends. There is nothing in SF LHW div for Mo mesides maybe Feijao. He needs to go to the UFC. Anyone else think his ringwalk resembles Beetlejuice when Howard would dress him up in goofy costumes?
Didn't hear that from Mo. Wiuff is a vet with a ton of notable wins, and a debuting fighter, moving up in wright onshore notice is not best suited for a guy such as him. And Whitehead hasn't been stopped in 8 years since Tim Sylvia stopped him with his massive size advantage. Mo came UP in weight and beat him brutally at his own game. Mousasi isn't an easy guy to beat, let alone finish. He tried to finish him but Mousasi's defense was too tight and he gassed. The heart he showed in gutting out a victory in a fight he was supposed to lose only made me like him more.
Whitehead came into that fight very fat. Kind of a gimme. Mo's wrestling game did impress for sure. His control was great. He just wasn't focused on damage enough for me. I'd like to see him mix it up a bit more and learn some subs/better g&p while on top.
